There is a war against Islam and Muslims are fighting back as they should. Thank you Mr. Bush for starting this.

Really? Bush was in office less than a year when we were attacked by Islam for the SECOND time. Is your Political Bias and General Ignorance that severe? You are the most dangerous voter in America.. the ignorant and uninformed voter.

Soon Nidal will realize how smart he is, representation by oneself is always a great idea for murderers. Since he believes he knows how to work the system so well perhaps it will lead him to that tiny room forever. He deserves nothing less.

Reflecting on the way government employees receive promotions as a reward for their failures, there are many examples in the recent news, Nidal Hasa should be rewarded and promoted to be Eric Holder’s personal Psychiatrist. Someone needs to know what is in Eric’s mind? He must have a very transparent mind. Before you saps write back denouncing my point of view, research Holder’s law practices back ground.

Why does Maj. Hasan still have a beard? Is he not still a member of the armed services which is govern by the UCMJ which states all service members are to be clean shaven? Is the judge ignorant of the military law?

He was already ordered to shave it, but refused and continued to appeal the order, and then a second judge finally ruled that the beard was a command issue and it should be handled outside the court so that Hasan could no longer use it to keep delaying the trial.

I would imagine it comes under religious rights.

There are no exceptions in the UCMJ for such "religious rights", if that were the case a Jew man could decide on wearing a Kipah or Yarmulke every day or such a man decide on being a Sakh, he would not allow his hair to be cut and wear a turban. Hasan enlisted without a beard and serviced without a beard and was a Muslim all during that time. He has no right to wear one as member of the Armed Services and by doing so now he is being disrectful to those soldiers as when he cried out "Allah Akbar" and shot all those soldiers.
11:56 PM on 06/14/2013
Maj. Hasan should have been shot and killed four years ago. Why has the Army taken so long in trying this S.O.B. Plenty of people saw him commit the shooting of innocent victims, so where is there any question of his guilt or innocence. Military Trial Justice should be swift in these kind of cercumstances and NOT drag its feet in doing so. This was terrorism pure and simple, who ever said this was workplace violence must be crazy to make such a statement.

The fact that President Obama said it was work place violence has nothing to do with Hasan's delays.

I've heard of show trials but this is a JOKE trial. The proceeding are a mockery to justice. This trial is still going to be going on when Obama leaves office. Do everyone a favor and just let him go. Deport him to one of the 'Stans and drone strike him later.

"She also ordered that Hasan not present any evidence or arguments about his claims that deploying U.S. troops posed an immediate threat to Taliban fighters."
But this was not a ierrorist attack according to Obama ans co, Thus the victims families are victimized by Obamas insistance the war on terrorism is over.

The wheels of justice move slowly in some cases. The defendant in this case has made it difficult to get this trial started, from decideing to defend himself to asking for more time to prepare.
Maj. Nidal Hasan has no honor. Not as a Muslim, not as a Major in the army, not as a Doctor and certainly not as a man. He knows he murdered 13 people and wounded 36. He should be able to take responsiblity for his actions and convictions and plead gulity.

Obama is an attorney! Obama is paid by the working taxpayers. Assign Obama as the defense attorney and get this joke of a military trial started!
