The American people wouldn't mind illegals so much if they didn't commit so many horrible crimes.

FAUX News malarkey and a vicious lie. Crime statistics for undocumented residents is nowhere near as high as it is for legal citizens, in other words, people like you. Nationwide the crime rate has fallen even while undocumented immigration has gone up. Peddle your myths somewhere else.

Go look at trhe FBI's most wanted, most are illegal aliens and rapes child molestation are rampant among the hispanic population.

Dont beleive me me loom it up.

Correction; Crime rate for illegal imigrants is 100%, I can assure you that the crime rate for the rest of america is much less.

rep. gov. here in Michigan had no problem raising taxes.....only thing is he raised taxes on RETIREES
07:12 AM on 06/25/2013
With 1,500,000 active military personnel collecting a paycheck, you would think they could be used at the US-Mexico border like they have in the past with no increase needed at the Border Patrol.

But, of course, then Congress wouldn't be able to lie about how expensive it is, guiding the American people against foreign invasion..........BY MEXICO!
07:09 AM on 06/25/2013
The US border patrol is run by a Federal Union. The Federal Unions needs new Voters to help Vote for pension increases raises etc. With the worse economy since the great depression the IRS union just gave themselves a $70 million raise after being caught trying to destroy fellow Americans. The Unions are not on our side.

Nothing in this bill FORCES the American Government to close the boarders to protect Americans Founding Members from invaders. Yea like the IRS has the American Tea Parties back, we know better. This is another scam by Congress to buy Votes for them and not US.
07:16 AM on 06/25/2013
You are clueless. One, America is not about 'them and us.' Two, it's borders, not boarders. Ignorance is un-American.

America is a country made great by its immigrants. It is incomprehensible that you call them invaders.

"Ignorance is un-American"
Yet you don't know the difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration. You must not be an American.

Looks like the republicans are just looking for excuses not to back this immigration bill. Why are these people acting so un-American?....they should be on the run with Snowden.

the more you know:

On page 66 of the repackaged bill, the following provision appears:

“CORPORATION FOR TRAVEL PROMOTION.—Sec- 9(d)(2)(B) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009 (22 U.S.C. 2131(d)(2)(B)) is amended by striking ‘‘For each of fiscal years 2012 through 2015,’’ and inserting ‘‘For each fiscal year after 2012.”
The Travel Promotion Act (TPA) of 2009 allows the Secretary of the U.S. Treasury to spend up to $100 million on promoting travel to specific areas of the country. If the provision Reid and Heller inserted into the proposed immigration reform legislation becomes law, the benefits of the TPA would be extended indefinitely.

the more you know:

Over the objection of some Republicans, including Iowa's Charles Grassley, who said there was no justification for "this special earmark for Ireland", Schumer has advanced his proposal to ensure an annual allocation of 10,500 E-3 visas to Irish nationals. Applicants are required to have no more preparation than a high school diploma or its equivalent in job experience. The visas would be renewable indefinitely, in two year increments, and would allow recipients the right to work and live in the United States. They would also be allowed to bring their spouses and children to live in the United States.

In this bill Illegal invaders don’t get healthcare right away the bills come to your mailbox slowly but eventually you will pay for everything they want. The dirty little secret that you need to pay attention too is Employers that hire the invaders don’t need to pay their Obamacare bills. So it’s cheaper for your Employer to hire invaders then to hire you the tax paying freedom fighting American. Who do you think will win that game? Not you’re Family. You were sold out in the fine print. Read it before you Vote on it.

If putting up a fence would only solve our problems, how happy we would be. Hiring enough border agents you can have 1 for every 1000 feet of border and extend the border inside the US 100 miles is pretty impressive. I guess this is the jobs, jobs, jobs promised by the GOPT. Seems an under use of drones for a more sophisticated approach to border security.

First I am a Reagan Conservative. Second, I believe we need an immigration bill and our borders secured. All of the problems I hear against this Bill are the same problems that were allowed to go on since Reagan's days. More and more illegals will keep on entering our country if we do not act. In Europe, they have a declining population growth and a need form workers. Who fills the bill, Muslim immigrants from the Middle East, who if you had not noticed, breed terrorists and DO NOT CONFORM in the countries they migrate to. I would rather have immigrants from Mexico, mostly Catholics who believe in God, and are anti gay and anti abortion, rather than Muslims who are anti everything not a Muslim.

I agree but US citizens donot want the work, that is except low income Mexican US citizens. I numerous airports in Calif, almost all worker in food service are Mexican because other low income workers do not want the work. Laid off out of work workers, will not work because they would lose money by working, unemployment is better.

When Dictators don’t have enough Votes to destroy the US Constitution with Democrat Voters you simply open the boarders to get new foreign Voters that will help you destroy the US Constitution with no skin in the game.
