I was in front of the "McFly" house taking a picture when the owner came out. I'm sure he's used to it.

Marty McFly's house looks almost identical to the house Dirk Diggler grew up in, except the garage is on the other side and the house is in Torrance. Same ugly color, same power lines in the BG

Marty McFly's house is cancer central. The cancer rates at houses that close to power lines are about six times the national average.

You beat me to it, Bhokara. I swear I feel a headache come on every time I drive by a cluster of power lines.

I was thinking the same thing. Usually communities that close to power lines are considered "Cancer Clusters".

I'm not sure what you mean by Marty's home likely having an upgrade today, if the film came out now. In the film series, that "modest 50s style ranch house" in seen only during the 80s (and alternate 80s) scenes. It was not yet built in the 50s, in the film itself - they were just beginning construction of the neighborhood. I also don't recall it being seen in the film's "future" of 2015.

The McFly residence looks like a swell place to get a jolt of stray electricity for the flux converter.

We're only two years away from flying cars, hoverboards, Jaws 19, hydrating ovens, and fax printers in every room of the house. Oh..... and the Weather Service should have complete control of the weather soon.
