The people want a balance of power? When clearly they are what is unstable?
Does not matter, each of the two are being undersold. They can fight between themselves if they want, as far as wholesale, they will be undersold until they are form consensus!

This is one way to create a debt, the US has another way. But either way is wrong, however the US destroys other nations, while these people seem determined to destroy themselves!

I find it odd people on here says Assad should do what he just say. Why should he? Before Al Qaeda and Demonocracy came Syria was great. Sectarianism nor racism was tolerated punishment being severe. Syria fights again Al Qaeda (supposedly) our enemies. The country vastly voted for Assad TWICE unlike Morsi who barely won elections to begin with. Also something to note is that the 'Muslim' Sisterhood for a time not too long ago terrorized Syria. So I ask you who is worst? I'll go with the guys who tried to destroy Syria and Egypt and some other places we don't know of.

The man who has slaughtered tens of thousands of his own people wants Morsi to step down? Now that is funny.

What is really funny (or sad depending on your perspective) is that there are people out there who are openly cheering for Al-Qaeda to topple Assad:

For Assad, Morsi stepping down makes perfect sense and of course he would advocate for it. The turmoil that is about to unfold in Egypt will draw the attention of Sunni Islamists as they fight the military in Egypt to attempt to regain control. This will lessen the Sunni fighters available to join the rebels in Syria.

In response, Morsi replied, "You first."

Ironic no? Assad who is justifiably leading his country in fighting against Al Qaeda, Morsi tells him to step down because he is a 'tyrant'. NOW President Assad tells him to step down because unlike him Morsi is no good for the country and has made it worst. Now the country can rebuild and prayerfully the next guy in charge doesn't allow heretics to attack Coptic Christians or anyone for that matter for their race or faith. Now it's just Syria that needs to clean up the land of Al Qaeda and Middle East will be back to normal.

Assad is fighting a bunch of salafi terrorist dogs imported from Chechnya, KSA, Turkey, Qatar not his own people. But you are lead to believe that he is fighting his own people via western propaganda. Everyone commenting seems to belong to a species of sheeple.
