Yes, all those trustees, former servants & palace officials who usurped & stole the daughter's rightful inheritance will now be begging in the streets. Karma.

Sadly, most of them are already dead with enough money squirreled away to tide over their families.
04:38 PM on 07/29/2013
Oh, the judgement is not retroactive on the entirety of the trust?
07:36 PM on 07/29/2013
I'm quite sure they have squandered and squirreled away a small fortune by now after all that has been 24 yrs ago .

I can't imagine a father would leave his children with meager allowances and give the rest of it for his servants to dole out. Unless there was particular strife and dysfunction between them, there is no way a father would do that and cut off the rest of the family.
Why did it take so long for the courts to rule? Did they just want them t waste the money?

They should divvy up the fortune amongst the people of India. The buck and a quarter or so would really help out.

It is very typical of GREED of humans...especially in that part of the world....I am glad that rightful owners will inherit the estate and the funds.. At the same time it show that corrupt law practises can be reversed even in country like INDIA......Good show..

"...especially in that part of the world..."? Sorry, but that type of behavior is disgustingly common worldwide. It's likely that the members of the trust thought they could get away with it forever. I wonder how much of the trust they took for themselves in the interim.

GONZO.....Greed is related to the government of INDIA for believing to the SERVANTS of the MAHARAJA and depriving the daughters (Princesses) from their inheritance.....They did not believe them BECAUSE THEY WERE WOMEN...that was the point...but you are right.....I wonder how much they scammed?...

Scammers work, it's no picnic ripping people off. Wall Street folks are some of the hardest workers you'll ever know, they put in long hours. It's better than digging ditches.

Well, scammer in this country are a different subject....the reason is "We the people" allow our law makers to aid those scammers....because we do not check or control or use the legal system we have....legal system...yeah that is cumbersome county to state to district to circuit to superior and then to supreme court...But it is still possible..to pursue if you are rich man or have a very courage's lawyer
