Don't bother nutty, your Aipac cabal is taking care of this...I saw Wolfy interview Engel NY congressman and both were playing the mobility card of children vein killed...so far so good..here is the real issue: which one among the two raised similar drumbeats when Israel used WP on civilians? And which one of these is not an Aipac or beneficiary of Aipac...

The vote in the British parliament was a major defeat for the Israeli lobby. A defeat in our congress would seriously undermine their influence here.

Just like the Saudis, Israel wants the US to do the dirty work for them. Cut all of them completely off the US foreign aid teat and let them take care of the problems they have created.
The US should pull out of the region and let Russia and China go broke taking care of these parasites.

Stop lying. Israel has never had a direct confrontation with Afghanistan, and Iraq was about nation-building, NOT the Jewish state. Israel has taken on the Arab world twice, ALONE, and could easily handle Syria.

If Israel is so decisive and cannot stan genocide, it can go ahed and defend Syrian citizens.
It is UN matter, not the US matter.

If they weren't so scared of Iran they would have done it a long time ago. Plus once Iran develops nukes we could certainly forget about that.

I feel for the Israeli citizens who now have to make sure they have gas masks for everyone and prepare their safe rooms to make sure there is room and supplies for everyone. Why should they have to live with the threat of a chemical attack on them because of Syrian civil war? If Syria has a problem with the US, take it up with the US.

Syria doesn't have problem with the US. US have problem with Syria because we are pressured by Saudis and Israel to fight the war on their behave. They are the only ones who would "benefit" from destroying Syria. We have no business there.

For obvious reasons, Israel has to wait until Syria strikes first.
07:16 PM on 09/01/2013
Except that Israel has already struck Syria 3 times this year ( that we know of)...
That much about waiting, which is for obvious reason...

There is a new thriller on Amazon Kindle, The Bahrain Protocol, which is apropo for this article. It predicts a war in the immediate future-between Israel and Iran; but with a twist that is no longer far fetched. What if Israel-no longer trusting U.S. intentions-finds common cause with an old nemesis-Saudi Arabia - and they partner to attack Iran's nuclear facilities?

The book puts you on the streets of Bahrain, within the ranks of rioters who burn down schools, destroy buildings, and fire bomb policemen on the orders of Iran's Hezbollah to distract the U.S. until Iran gets the nuclear bomb; and in the cockpit of an Israeli F15, barreling down the throat of the enemy with ground penetrating bombs; and it's only the beginning. And it's a great read.

I'm not surprised, the concept of formally having any military actions authorized by representatives of the people is foreign to Israelis.

After the British parliamentary setback the US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel said: “Our approach is to continue to find an international coalition that will act together. It is the goal of President Obama and our government... whatever decision is taken, that it be an international collaboration and effort.”

Can you believe how ridiculous these American puppets sound? What the deluded Americans do not seem to realize is that they are on their own. The only entities willing to support their aggression on Syria is Saudi Arabia and Israel. So, how’s that for credibility?
The only support Washington can muster is from a feudal, sword-wielding, head-chopping regime and a criminal pariah genocidal state. Coalition of the Willing? More like Coalition of the Killing.

I don't mean to be rude.... But why is it always about Israel? Maybe they should stand up for themselves for a change and take care of things themselves instead of leaning on others to do their dirty work for them....Just saying...
03:28 PM on 09/01/2013
when we take action they take the brunt and we have this strange policy that they should just take it quietly and when threatened should not respond
03:29 PM on 09/01/2013
That's right, why IS it always about Israel? Why does Israel have to get dragged into and blamed for every problem in the Middle East? Why is Assad and Iran threatening to go after Israel if the US attacks? And by the way, no US soldier has EVER died defending Israel, unlike Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, etc. So spare us this crap about Israel not taking care of things themselves. They always have and they always will.

There is an argument in the Independent in UK that the US is acting as proxy for Israeli interest to see the demise of Shia influence now supported by Iran in Syria. The question that should be asked is did they have any thing to do with the gassing in order to prompt a US response and justification to go to war.
03:15 PM on 09/01/2013
hey, its been a long, perhaps, if you were actually concerned with reality, and not more of the same israel bashing so transparently apparent in your post, you would have at least thought of mentioning the role the saudis are playing in pressuring the U.S. The saudis are and have been deeply involved in supporting the rebels yet you so conveniently parade out some ridiculous conspiracy theory about israel. More, the brits, have much to atone for, and the last thing they should be doing is spinning conspiracy theories or passing moral judgments on anyone. just about every spot on earth that is in turmoil has its roots in something the brits did there.

That the US made a threat that gas would be a read line and then after 100,000 people are killed through conventional warfare, a hundred are killed by gas is reason to go to war, you have to ask, why did the gas happen now? it is like 911, it is simply to provide an excuse that the public will be satisfied with.
