I'm afraid I don't know anything about T-Bone as a person, but he was one hell of a bassist. 58 was too young for him to go.

Sad to hear this news.
T-Bone was a great bassist.
His playing lives on.

Way too young to go, but then many baby boomers are leaving us too soon. I think the greatest generation will be the ones to live the longest.

Talented man, a sad loss to music. Thanks for entertaining us & good travels Tom.

I remember him as the tall excellent bass player in the Saturday Night Live Band. Hall and Oats have been flying under the musical radar for the last twenty years. Give T-Bone the respect he deserves on his own, please.

I've seen all of the Hall & Oates videos when they were at their apex in the early 80's. I LOVED THEM AND STILL DO!!!!! They had a really tight band with Daryl, John, G.E Smith on guitar, Tom T Bone on base, Charlie DeChant on saxaphone and Mickey Curry on drums.

They were my favorite band from that era along with Journey & The Police

RIP T-Bone!!

Please look up " Daryl's House " and enjoy the music. I think you will find T-Bone in some of the videos.
This must be a devastating loss. I have only heard great praise for this man's character and musicianship.
