No one in the government told BP to cut corners. No one in the government told BP to ignore safety requirements. No one in the government told BP to use a world banned dispersant, one of which is the most toxic to the environment. No one in the government told BP to withhold flow measurements. No one in the government told BP to withhold safety protection for the spill workers.

Still adds up to BP and they have to make it right. Even if it costs $40 to $100 billion. America will accept, cash, monthly payments, MaterCard or Visa.

The USA is to blame. The air of non-regulation because your poor corporate overlords won't make enough money is the cause of many of your problems.

Spill
Healthcare (hahahahaha is that what you call it)
Banks
Food industry (more jokes)

But then again, the corps own your Congress so why are any of you surprised?

can't really disagree with any of that

however, we left it up to BP to police themselves and they blew it
now they must pay - 100%
it is up to them to sue whichever suppliers failed them

well, Mr. Cameron- who should we blame? The sea turtles? The fishermen? Who else besides BP and maybe Halliburton who put in the faulty valve- should be responsible?

Wow:

I wonder if he came and saw the oil spill, the marine and wild life. More importantly the lives lost and the lost lively-hood of most of the people who earn a living down there he wouldn't appear so classless.

You know he's not classless and clueless.
He's suggesting there's enough blame to go around ....as well as BP.
He's right of course.
Americans get in such a tither if anyone dares to disagree with them.
It makes you unable to think rationally.
Look where the shallow, closed mentality is getting you.
Down the drain ...my friends.

W.T.F? Just who do we blame? Yes, I understand our government bears some of the blame, but BP was in charge and the school I went to the principle was in charge. Principle in charge was BP, the rest of the players were hired under the BP banner. Send this Brit back with the message that we take no BS from UK or BP. BP is a bugger.

$40 billion? Profits for just over a year. 5-6 years of all profits may make the people of the gulf whole again. Lets start there.

Don't worry. It's the US. Corporate executives and War Criminals are above the law. Obama will make sure of that.

Odd, as I recall Haliburton was one of Dick Cheney's most favored multinational corporation. Since the precedent of corporate immunity was set during the Bush administration how could Obama possible change it? I mean that would suggest that his policies are consistent with Bush and how could you possibly complain about that? Pick an argument and be consistent you can't have it both ways.
