Unfortunately, they will simply lobby to change the the definition to suit their purpose. The FDA will be calling HFC "corn sugar" in no time!

So much for that campaign of deception. Maybe they'll try to relabel it as Nebraska or Iowa sugar, or I Can't Believe It's Not Sugar!

Ooooops. Well, how about "corn manna from heaven"? That has a nice, wholesome ring to it.

Monsanto's manna comes from the "other" place.

Ha ha ha. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch.

RE: Food. It the recipe was invented by a cook and the food was grown by a farmer who planted seeds that hadn't been tinkered with, and the resulting produce was sold in a consumer market without waxing, x-raying, ultrapasteurising or other uber-technological interventions, eat it.

If the recipe was invented by a food scientist and the food was grown by an open air factory from seeds that had been frankensteined by Monsanto and the resulting produce processed beyond recognition by ConAgra, Cargill, et al, don't eat it.

That's the only way to remain even moderately healthy these days.

Exactly.

The food industrial complex is the death panel.

"From a health standpoint, it makes no difference whether the sweetener is sucrose or HFCS. "

WRONG

-HFCS contains high levels of fructose, hence the name. There is a version of HFCS with lower levels of fructose than glucose but that is deceptive because of the unbound fructose molecules in refined HFCS (see below).
-HFCS interferes with natural appetite functions moreso than real sugar making it addictive.
-HFCS is highly refined meaning all the natural vitamin and mineral cofactors that occur with real sugar that aid with digestion are absent.
-"free fructose", or highly refined fructose unbound with other naturally occurring sugars, is shown to interfere with the heart's use of magnesium copper, and chromium, along with other negative effects.

Of course they lie. It's what they do best.
