The Giants have been under stress for two months now, coming from 6.5 games back to catch San Diego, having to win that last game to even make the playoffs after blowing the first two against them, all the one run games they've been involved in during the last couple of months including the playoffs, and it's no wonder that they're playing this well now. The pressure's off, they got to the World Series, and no one was expecting them to even make it to the WS much less win it.

Texas is in deep trouble. They're playing tight and the Giants are loose. It also shows how much better Giants pitching is compared to the Yankees.

They already have in their heads. Probably re-elect the same corrupt governor who brought the state red ink the size of California's deficit and the idiots dont even care. Deficit doubled in two years to $19 billion, and Texans don't mind. Proves they can't count added to they can't read either.

You would think a 9-0 game would be dull, but let me tell you something: I didn't miss a minute!

As a mighty Ranger booster, I tip my hat to the Giants as they have played far superior baseball the first two games. But now we MUST get the job at home.

Go Rangers!
12:11 PM on 10/29/2010
Nicely done, good sportsmanship! I think the Rangers will be tougher at home. I still think the giants will win this. We need to play .400 ball, the R's need to play .800 ball - and Sanchez has a little bit to prove after his last outing. I'm looking forward to the game on Saturday. Go Giants!
12:37 AM on 10/30/2010
Giants do look good ... just hoping our guys will shake off whatever has them walking around like they've never played ball at this level. I think it's just nerves ... hope so.

As a Yankee fan I couldn't be happier. I want Texas to get swept so that we can pop Lees huge head and get him for cheap next year haha.

Well we wouldve gotten Lee this year if our stupid owners woudlve forked over the extra dough Lee wanted. Instead we lost him to the Rangers. And by cheap I mean relatively cheap because if Lee helps the rangers win the world series he will be worth a lot more as a free agent.
12:38 AM on 10/30/2010
lee doesn't have a huge head ... one of the most humble guys around ... he won't be headed you guys way seeing how yankee fans treated his wife and the other Ranger spouses. real class act.

Geez, you know how many of these Phillies prognosticator trolls got on the sf sports news comments? They were so arrogant. It was a pleasure to see the Giants put them in their place. Now with Texas there aren't as many and they aren't quite as arrogant. Winning the World Series is the goal but I have to tell you, the feeling of satisfaction of making those Phillies fans eat their words by beating them in the NLCS was superb.

Wow they put up 7 more runs in late innings, they really are playing to win.

I was flipping back and forth from the game, and last I saw it was 2-0 Giants in the bottom of the 8th.
09:21 AM on 10/29/2010
Texas is really, really bad. That was the worst bullpen implosion I've ever seen.

That is so true..the game will be played in Texas...totally different than San Francisco...anything else..oh yes..different time zone...Huge!!

What's it take to make you realize that the Giants are by far the better team? I mean, does it have to be twenty to zip or what?

I have a $20 ticket here from March 21, 2010 from the Fremont Casino Las Vegas giving me 20/1 odds that the Giants win the 2010 World Series.
Before the 1st pitch of the 2010 season was thrown some of us out here kind of knew this Giants team was going to be pretty good and definitely unique..........

A little advice here, bud? Your $20 ticket will be worth $400, assuming the Giants win. You might do better right after the Giants win the Series by posting that thing on ebay. Some Giants fan might part with a thou to post it on his wall as a souvenir!
