If we don't prosecute our own war criminals why should we concern ourselves over others?

since israel really doesn't care about palestinians or the 2 state solution, palestinians should ask the united nations to give them the land.. that was how jews got their state. in 1948. british simply gave them a part of palestine. what is good for goose ......

Yeah, except the Palestinian's mythology doesn't coincide with the Christian mythology like Judaism does.
Rapture Christians have no need for Palestinians, but are using Jews (re-creation of Israel) to bring back their Messiah...

Right. It is amazing what myths many religious people believe.
09:16 AM on 11/09/2010
No Britain did not!

You're correct

The League of Nations did

Then Britain dragged their feet for decades

Then the UN did

What about the Balfour Declaration of 1917?
The British were instrumental in the creation of Israel.

And they give the exact same rational, they say that those Arabs did not have a national government so they deserved to lose the land, well American Indians did not have a national government either. If you go by Israel's flawed logic, any people who are not technologically advanced and have not built huge cities with central governments deserve to be wiped off the face of the Earth. How sad is that?

It's irrational for Israel to claim they want peace while continuing to take more land.

Netanyahu said Palestinian leaders need to stop "making preconditions."

Which preconditions? Asking to stop invading them is a "precondition"?

Asking them to recognize Israel as a "jewish" state, while having already recognized Israel consistently with international rules, is not a precondition?

This man is a joke, a sad joke for Israelis, Palestinians and the whole Middle East, we should focus on regime change in Israel

The whose "state" of affairs is a particular kind of sick joke saying one thing while intenting another.

"It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion, clearly and courageously, a certain number of facts that are forgotten with time. The first of these is that there is no Zionism, colonialization, or Jewish State without the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their lands."

-- Ariel Sharon, Israeli Foreign Minister, addressing a meeting of militants from the extreme right-wing Tsomet Party, Agence France Presse, November 15, 1998.

When your opponents are tightly locked up and living in concentration camp conditions in Gaza and your West Bank opponents are trapped behind a Wall, what’s the hurry for peace talks?

The Israelis pretend they want peace, but what they are really doing is making living conditions for the Palestinians so difficult that they will pick up and move to some nearby Arab country.

There is absolutely no incentive for Israel to come to the peace table they already have everything they want and peace talks will only mean they might have to give up something.

They know they have our congress on their payroll and Obama is unable to cut off funds to Israel without committing political suicide.

Palestinians will feel forced into declaring statehood, something of a strategic error, methinks!

On one hand the USA asks Israel to STOP Building settlements
On the other hand the USA GIVES Israel free Bulldozers
after receipt the bulldozers are upgraded with machine guns and rocket launchers
Here then is the story....this is really interesting....the truth usually is:

Just more double-speak political posturing to appease people that may be offended by the settlements. Every administration since Ford as said the settlements should be stopped and are an impediment to peace. But, tacitly supported them.

Very interesting link. We do not have any idea just how involved the US is with what is going on in that region, and also how much we are aiding and abetting a rogue nation.
Israel has constantly disregarded international laws, the advice from other nations, and has told the US in no uncertain terms to go jump in the lake. The fact that the US cannot extricate itself from the stanglehold of the AIPAC and other Jewish lobbies is disappointing it would seem that they have done a remarkable job making sure the powerful in this country are forever beholden to them. Even the event of American citizens like Rachel Corrie, the young man in the flotilla, and others, who were killed by Israel, does not make our leaders pause or hesitate to rethink the unbelievable loyalty to Israel, is incredible. If this was a Muslim nation, that acted like a terrorist state, I can imagine the outrage that would have been deafening.

"He said Israel is eager to talk peace, but that it was counterproductive to "waste our time arguing about marginal issues that will not affect the peace math in any way."

In other words, I 've got all your bargaining chips now lets talk peace.

Guilty? Why has this befallen Israel? sadly I ask ,they disobeyed the laws of  God, once they entered the promise land?
