We can only hope that traitor joe is seeing his last term in washington!
Now all we have to do is get rid of the rest of the republicans to have a good country in which to live!

OK, Joe is a bad guy. Fine. Everybody agrees on that. Enough for the negative attacks, and let's TRY to be positive (if we can...) What I want to hear is who, and how, we are going to re-win this seat? Campaigns start in exactly ONE year. If we want to push a candidate under the Media's lights, we MUST start NOW!
So, I repeat, WHO, and HOW?

Jacob Hacker! Promise him he doesn't have to raise any money, just talk, vote and continue his research. After all, nobody works in the senate anyway.

Great name, Carolina! But don't you think that being a "mere" Senator would somehow clip his wings?
F/F for offering such a positive possibility...That's what I call a step into the right direction...which is Left, of course.

Now that "Aypac" will probably have their own Likudist Majority Leader, Cantor, Lieberman can swing over to the other side, survive politically another day, and push their agenda without the disguise he's been wearing all this time.

I thought the bad news he received was, that a coat only has two sides.

I don't think Lieberman intends on running in 2012. He has spent four years doing everything humanly possible to anger, deceive and humiliate his former colleagues in the Democratic Party. This is his swan song and he is going out with a bang, knowing that he has burned every bridge imaginable and has no shot at winning dog catcher in his home town.

We will probably do OK without having a Likud Senator.  The only question is how much damage he can do to our democracy in the next 2 years?

Joe is a man of integrity and principal. I think it's interesting that the Democrats think that Joe was a turncoat and a sore loser by running as an independent, but wouldn't classify Lisa Murkowski that same way for running her write in campaign. By the way, some Republicans feel that way about her, but not me. I think she has proved that she should be the Senator from Alaska, just like Joe proved that he should have been the Senator from Connecticut.

Not much integrity, and somebody else's principals.  He is a corporate puppet who supports a foreign policy of perpetual war.  Ned Lamont would have voted for the middle class.

The Senator from AETNA will probably switch sides and run as a Repub while hoping that McCain and Palin help him round up the repub and teaparty vote.

Don't count out Senator Aetna. He is really a Republican so he can run as one. Tolerating this opportunist has been a joke and the Democrats need to get him out of their caucus no matter what it costs in his occasional supporting votes.
