Netanyahu can start telling his own people the truth, by saying Israel needs to end the occupation of the West Bank and the Golan Heights.

The CIA has no intelligence the government of Iran wants to develop nuclear weapons. And Iran has not launched a first-strike attack against another country in the past 100 years.

Up until 1979, Iran was an ally and a stabilizing force in the region. For the past 40 or so years it has been run by corrupt theocratic thugs who murder their own people to suppress opposition. It is only recently that they have been close to developing nuclear weapons, and I don't know about you, but there is no way I would trust testosterone driven Islamic extremists with such lethal potential.

right on!

Of course it was a stabilizing force... puppets are always better at keeping the status quo stabilized....

Israel is the chief danger in the middle east and saudi not far behind , the only remotely sane country is syria
02:02 PM on 11/29/2010
grange - - The Saudis say time and time again that Israel is the greatest threat to the peace of the Middle East. Not Iran.

Small crumbs to sate the public. In reality how ever the royals are in bed with the Z\0n\$ts. Not coz they love em, but for ensuring their own survival as a regime....

A large part of the Arab world is dictatorships and monarchies propped up by the usa, right?

Yet bibi is saying their condemnation of iran is somehow pure???

Smart move before "dealing" with wikileaks.
01:46 PM on 11/29/2010
Gee, it's hard to believe our own government doesn't tell the citizens what's really happening. Now I'm wondering if it EVER tells the truth. Where's George Washington when we need him? Well, for now, we have wikileaks until the government gets them shut down or killed.
Most Americans believe what they hear on the news. Question everything folks. When we hear that North Korea shelled the island first and the North Koreans say the south fired the first shots, who should we believe? Are we just making an excuse to start a bigger conflict there? I guess not enought countries hate our guts yet! Let's make as many enemies as we can and some day if WE need help, lets see who helps us. Just a few thoughts I've had.

Pathetic! When reality hurts blame the Jews. Sure. The Arab countries couldn't possibly agree with Israel and not really care about the Palestinians. I am not conditioned to believe such things. Blame the mossad form planting cables in the US military system just so they could be leaked.

Easy to say when you've been described in wikileaks as 'elegant and charming'...
does seems rather suspicious.

And how safe does the "Arab World" feel re Israel, who has its own nuclear capability which it attained secretly?
02:06 PM on 11/29/2010
exactly the same as anyone in the world feels about the nuclear weapons of the US, Russia, England, France, Pakistan and India.

The Arab world doesn't even trust Israel with conventional weapons.

The major driving force for Arab nuclear programs in the Middle East is Israels nuclear program.

If Israel wanted to nuke Arab states, it would have already done so decades ago when they were at war.  Israel could have used nukes in 1973 when its existence was seriously in danger, but even in those dire circumstances, they did not use nukes.  The fact that Israel has not used its nukes despite having been repeatedly threatened with annihilation means it is a country that practices restraint.

If Netanyahu defends Wikileaks, then some of the Wikileaks reports are planted by Mossad.

Everybody can submit a leak and I bet some of the leaks are from Mossad and CIA to achieve political goals.

Doubt it. They all came from State Dept. It will be interesting to see how the Saudis, Bahranians, Jordanians etc. spin it though.
