Oh Purrr Purrr KayteeBell...we will all weep for your tragic set of obstacles for your reelection. Texas is faw*ed anyway...so sure...let them elect another tea bag. That place is full of tea bags.

So true, especially since our Texas Constitution says that no budget will go over and the current governor put us 20 billion in the hole and has his eyes set on the Teacher Retirement billions did not mean a thing to them.  Plus he is taking funds away from the current highway program to straighten out the books.  But the dummies here voted for him again and again, goes to show you how uninformed people are.  But the rich catered to him and he does for them

Has Texas hasn't left the union yet? I'm amazed I thought you were a separate country already, with all the Teabaggers and such.

If Kay Bailey decides to run for the Senate again here in Texas, even if there is a "Tea Party" candidate, she will win easily. Not even debatable.
01:19 AM on 12/06/2010
She didn't win the Perry.
01:27 AM on 12/06/2010
No, you have to understand Texas. Texas was not willing to vote out Perry after the state has survived the recession better than most other states in the country. Perry got most of the credit for the state's situation. Do not underestimate the approval of Kay Bailey, though.

Really and they oblige labeling people terrorists in her district? Is this due to the Kool Aid supplied to Baggers by their heros Glenn and Sarah? Because they are so accomplished and educated? The people laughing at you all the way to the bank.
It makes me laugh to hear people demonize Mrs. Pelosi. 70 years old and raised a family and one of the most important people in our government. She is a great legislator and cares not what you think if her
She was thought highly of by all until the GOP started rumors about he to discredit her. You could not be the chit on the bottom of her shoe.

Oh stop it......

The tea baggers want to 'off' Kay Bailey Hutchison, but she has been pretty loyal to the republican ideals.

But you can keep cheering on the teabaggers if you want. It worked otu well for them in Delaware.......and Alaska........LOL......

For a GOP candidate, if the Tea Partier's hate you, your life will never be the same. In the southern states your odds of losing in the elections are several folds higher.

What I don't understand is why the left, that hates corporations so much, is positively giddy with excitement in its support of the largest corporate bailouts in history, aka TARP.

Well; the argument is that without the TARP some big corporations like GM will go completely bust, which will hurt our countries working middle class.

Sarah Palin Gets A Republican Kneecapping For Christmas

Other Republicans feel it is time to take on Sarah Palin and question her qualifications to be President of the United States for the good of their party.

Sarah Palin may be the only candidate who could defeat Kay Bailey in Texas. But she'd have to come up with a middle name, like "Sarah Sue".

I'm in Texas and this senator "PROMISED" to resign whether she won or lost the Texas gubernatorial primary against governor for life Rickie Perrie. She lost and Texans lost bigtime two different ways. One we were stuck with Perry for governor and two we were stuck with Hutch for senator when she failed to keep her solemn word and quit.

And this fellow Texan is now a fan. Kay should have kept her promise!

Go ahead, Tea Party. Make her day.

Would love to see some l00ny tea-party candidate in the mold of Christine, Sharron, or Joe be nominated and then have the Democratic candidate scoop up the seat.

We are so sick and tired of these Politicians cowing down, first thing if they are doing their jobs they wouldn't have to worry about these hyprocites (Tea Baggers), who is the first to beg for Health Care and Beg for Pork Spending, these Tea Baggers are nothing but a bunch of Hyprocrites that have nothing to offer, we saw them out there Protesting, telling the Federal Government keep your hands off my Health Care, ignorant not knowing that the Federal Government is the one that Provide they health care. These Politicians just need to do their jobs and they want have anything to worry about, One thing we can say about the Election of President Obama have really exposed what have been running this country, I Prayed to exposed what's going on in this country, we have so much corruption, hate, evil, hatered, jealousness, some have sold GOD short, and have so much MALICE in their heart, and some are bullies, we need to stop and just do the people work.

It will not be a purposeful pursuit for the Progressive Left to attempt to protect, or even be concerned with the coming demise of Republican officeholders. The brighter the light we shine upon them, the sooner the Right will vote them out.

If Hutchison is in the cross hairs of the Radical Right, ... it is her choice, ... for her party affiliation is her choice.

When mutinies occur across the aisle we must turn our heads and let them sort out their business, ... whether with knives, or teeth, nails or claws.

There is a lesson to be learned by the Obstructionists. Reasonable discourse between challengers gives rise to reasonable conversations among political parties.

This fabulous ascendancy you believe you have achieved, ... the attainment of majority status in the House, is a fine start, ... an opportunity to express an opinion about the future governance of our nation.

If you believe the world has stopped, and will spin in reverse because a bar owner's kid from Cincinnati is the new speaker, ... well. then, go cry yourself a river. Oh, ... and call us when the blubbering stops, ... so we can enact tax relief for Americans who need it.

Start from the top down, .... and the barkeep's kid is done!

Ann Richards was the first elected female Governor of the state of Texas. Most everyone loved her. She used to say that for a woman to compete in a man's world of politics, she had to be tough enough to dance backward wearing heels.

I've met Kay Bailey and she's no Ann Richards.

Do what is right for the people Kay, who cares what happens in 2012. It's 2010 and people are starving TODAY. You are most likely a millionaire already. You can afford to be jobless in 2012 if the Tea Baggers are so desperate to vote you out. That should give you the courage to do what you should and not be blackmailed by the crazy.

And so we see the dilemma of the GOP, which has, through the last few decades, consistently kowtowed to each new radicalized conservative group which has arisen in its ranks.

There are few moderate GOPers left. The GOP voters are now largely the more gullible ones who allow themselves to be emotionally manipulated by bumpersticker jingoisms.

KBHutchison is a woman candidate who--if Obama was the Democratic candidate--win the 2012 election. She should have been McCain's VP candidate in 2008, but the GOP's religious-right handlers instructed McCain to pick Palin or there would be a fight on the GOP convention floor.

The GOP has empowered the very extremists who will keep any viable GOP candidate from running.

As Frank Zappa wrote: "Do you love it? Do you hate it? There it is, the way you made it."
