what the kluck is she talking about?
11:41 PM on 03/18/2011
Probably the failure to allow offshore drilling.A oil companies postulate less supply, the increasing demand raises the price.this ,coupled with the President's strange passivity in foreign affairs, throws a double impetus to rising oil/gas prices. Strangely, markets seem impervious to HP suggestions.I certainly don't have any idea how high they'll go,and fortunately am making a substantial increase each year, but, it's going to be very bad for the economy

Bush got blamed too, so how's this different ? We also have an administration that refuses to pull their heads out of the sand and instead of funding research into alternative sources of energy, bankers- of all people- are lavished with cash by this president. So while I disagree with Palin on everything else, I have to agree that yes, Mr. Obama has acted timidly on just about every issue he campaigned on. Please no comments like ; "But it is all Bush's fault !' We're almost three years into this and it's the same crap.

But it took him a full 8, I think we can still blame him well into the future.

I'm giving Obama one year for every two Bush had before I stop blaiming Bush. Mind you, I still think Obama is a failure for alot of other reasons.

I see characters strewn in succession which may or may not be forming words, but, I can gain no meaning from them...

Last night I watched a documentary called "Collapse". I generally try to steer clear
of documentaries like this, but now my eyes are open. President Obama is really a
hostage in this situation. ANWAR in Alaska would only supply our oil needs for six months.
We all really need to start ACTING. Watch the film, it's on NetFlix. Let's all eat less, bicycle more, and realize that we are all in denial. We have to fix this for our kids sake.

Sarah (I only refer to you as Sarah because I don't respect you enough to call you Ms. Palin), the President's last name is "Obama" not OPEC.
02:03 PM on 03/18/2011
OPEC...she never heard of them.
02:23 PM on 03/21/2011
Is the middle east a continent or a country? Where is the company OPEC located? Sarah has lots of questions. Technically anyone can become president Sarah, but hopefully not the mentally deficient.

Once again her modern day brand of McCarthysism is displayed, 'threat to national security'? doesnt even make sense. She likes to toss it in whenever possible however as she knows invoking fear is a winning tactic amongst her followers. Blaming is so boring Sarah, never mind sooo easy. How about some ideas huh?
02:35 PM on 03/19/2011
Corwin: Thanks for your comment. Its my opinion she is way of regarding the perception she is giving of Obama and his 'intent on pursuing policies detrimental to consumers'.This follows a pattern of reckless and unsubstantiated attacks on not only Obama but the first lady. Given she has furthermore attacked his charactar and patriotism, and created unnecessary fear mongering amongst her followers in that regard, she is akin to a modern day McCarthy.

Hmmmm....That's funny, I don't recall her having a word to say about gas prices when they hit over
$4/gallon during the Bush administration.

Oh, I forgot, if a Republican is in office then prices are driven by the highly speculative futures market but if a Democrat is in office then gas prices a the President's personal responsibility.

Hey Sarah- SHUT UP!

Wow--she is just not done yet proving just how irrelevant she is. I think there is an inverse relationship between her ego and her popularity. Even GOP conservative rats are leaving her ship... Hey Palin, why haven't you blamed Obama for the shrinking ice caps yet?? Even though itnis partly the hot air you are spewing from Alaska while younstand on your front porch looking at Russia.

Someone needs to remind this woman that the entirety of the reserves on US soil equal roughly one week of US demand. More drilling on US soil strictly benefits oil companies, not the public.
