Keep your government hands off my medicare!
I really hope that the Democrats and organizations like the AARP have enough bandwidth to get the word out to all of the seniors and soon to be seniors in America what the GOTP is trying to do to them.
The solution is simple: Tax the wealthy, go to single payer, and stop starting wars.

How much more prof would anyone need to realize that the  Republican / Teabagger Party of Obstruction is simply trying to dismantle everything that government does for the American people while enriching the rich and further bolstering the profits of the large corporations.  Spending for wars without purpose and without end is unlimited and not subject to reductions.  They simply want or don't care if this nation lapses back into the economic pit from which we have started to dig out after the disasterous 8-year Bush / Cheney destruction.

Cut cut cut - cut jobs, cut taxes for the rich, cut taxes for corporations -- Paul Ryan and the Republicans are a one-trick pony - and a menace.

I wish you bots weren't so vapid and insipid. But at least it makes it clearer as to how we've gotten such a middling, uninspiring presidency.

this is so schizophrenic....
by cuting funds on medicaid, or medicare, or health care automaticly millions of people will be at risk to loose their job
all these people who work to provide these variety of services and administrative work, get paid , so they pay taxes, support their families and support business
this is an integrated part of the national economy.

Will the GOP write me a check for the last 35 years of Medicare contributions plus interest?
12:41 AM on 04/05/2011
Only if you're a billionaire and contribute a percentage to them.
03:59 AM on 04/05/2011
Yes, I agree. As a 53-year-old, I'm also screwed with the age 55 cut-off he proposes. No time to go back and save up any additional money now. But it doesn't really matter because no for-profit health insurance company will ever sell me or any old person a medicare-equivalent policy, voucher or no voucher.

Over in Albany, rejecting renewal of the millionaires tax so he can foist an additional $5 billion in cuts on the children and the poor. The man is downright vulgar.

The program is already so tightly funded that not only does living below the poverty threshold NOT guarantee coverage, but the program is part of a system that leaves 51 million out in the cold. If there's waste, let's reinvest it back in the program

Wisconsin Remember Tomorrow Tuesday april 5 TH: Start Cleaning Up Your Mess !!!!!!!!!!!

Vote JoAnne Kloppenburg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11:33 PM on 04/04/2011
No surprise Paul Ryan is from WI. What is it with these WI republicans? How can people be so heartless? Cutting health care to the sick and the poor in order to give tax cuts to the rich... How unAmerican. Who are we? What has become of this country where we demonize teachers and cut the pay and bargaining rights of cops and firefighters in order to give breaks to bankers who have robbed the nation? We must rid ourselves of these heartless politicians.

Who are these Wisconsin Voters????? Let us hope Wisconsin has learned from their mistakes ??
We will know Tomorrow if Wisconsin learned anything
12:23 AM on 04/05/2011
zdubchi, It is NOT "we"who are responsible for this Republican / Teabagger assault upon the people.  These Obstructionists WERE ELECTED in 2010 when too many sat on their couches on election day.  The country is now paying the price of this apathy and laziness.  I doubt that it will happen in 2012 and so we must support efforts to thwart this temporary assault upon us until we can get rid of these Republican extremists until 2012.  It's really as simple as that.

I started a blog last month about how Walker is destroying Medicaid in WI. My life is in danger because of his political agenda. Feel free to follow along at: scottwalkerisgoingtokillme.blogspot.com
I will be posting more reference material from the health care advocacy groups that are working hard to save badger care and medicaid. We are all in trouble if they are allowed to pursue this death dealing agenda.

They will only be allowed to continue their" d e a th dealing agenda" if the People of Wisconsin let them!! Tomorrow will be the first indicator with the election of Supreme Court Justice. Prosser a strong Walker supporter and close friend vs JoAnne Kloppenburg(D)

Wisconsin Vote JoAnne Kloppenburg!!!!!!!!! Start Cleaning Up Your Mess
12:27 AM on 04/05/2011
Turtlenewz, yes, tomorrow's Wisconsin vote WILL clearly show if the people have awakened to what their apathy in 2010 has wrought, and have taken the first step in correcting the American tragedy which began with the Republican / Teabagger victories of 2010.

It is inconceivable that the Wisconsin voters will allow yet another Teabagger into office in WI. They will elect Kloppenberg tomorrow and start the counter- revolution to really take their government back from the extremist Republican / Teabagger minority.
