I know I'm American and not supposed to get all wrapped up in the moment ,but I'm so happy for Wills.I finally have (again I know I'm not British) a princess again. The only downer is that Diana wasn't there physically, spiritually she's been there every step of the way.But style is back in the House of Windsor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am an American and watched his mother get married and saw how horrible Charles treated her through the years, William is his mother's son, not his father's and he is turning out to be a fine young man and his mother would be proud of him, bet he thought of her throughout the day and I hate to say it but I hope Charles and Camilla crooked a bit and looked ashamed of themselves for what they did to her. Don't have to be Birtish to love Diana or her sons.

A beautiful wedding.
What a show!
The occasion was elegant, regal and dignified, yet fun and full of life and the promise of a great future.
The british monarchy provide the UK with a history, a past full of tradition, a future full of possibilities as well as lessons learned from failures, and the present full of love, youthful bloom and hope.
The culture and tradition provide a backbone to support the British identity.

I wish we had some of that here. We are floundering in a quagmire of racism, hate and disrespect of the only tradition we have; the office of President.

Did his dad pass his car along to him as a gift or just a loan? Nice surprise.

Love that car! They look so happy, cool the Prince William was driving it too and not having a driver. I think these two will last, you can just see it in their eyes, it looks very genuine.

Yes, that just proves it, they are just connected. I thought they knew each other for ten years though? Maybe I'm wrong there, it's highly possible ;)

Beautiful Bride....Handsome Groom...Gorgeous Wedding. I wish them well....and hope this can restore some of the lost romanticism and dignity lost on the Royal Family.

Catherine really has EARNED her place beside William....and he by her side.

The rest of that family is such a mess - - here's to hoping this starts them back on the right path. Cheers!

I hope ths one lasts. This family does not do very well on holding a marriage together.

U know I commented on one of these strings that they truly looked happy with their choice of mates. There was a lot of warmth in his & her eyes when they looked at each other.

This sure is a marriage of 2 people that are in love and will have each other's back at all times, he looks so like his mother, he certainly is his mother's son and has all her good qualities. Your right, there was so much warmth and love in their eyes for each other. Pray they have a lifetime of love and joy.

I watched the wedding this morning and again tonight. Tonight, however, as I watched Kate walked down the aisle I looked at her gown and viel and couldn't help thinking that she looked much like Gwenivere. If that was the look she was going for, she succeeded. Oh what a beautiful bride she was; and if anyone doubts that Diana was at the wedding today, they need only look at William's face....his eyes, his smile, his blushing cheeks...to dispell those doubts. Congrats and best wishes to the newlyweds!

Is it just me or was Princess Eugenie's hat awful? That pink hat was wearing HER, not the other way around.

No, it's British tradition to be a little more theatrical and outrageous for a wedding. They are not into it's "the bride's day" kind of thing. It's an event for everyone.

Their parents should consider hiring stylists for their daughters. There are stylists who will respect their clients's tastes without letting their clients look like neon signs in search of a casino.

Years ago, society women had personal buyers who would select suitable items from the current designer shows. The next time the women were in New York or London or Paris, they would look at the selection, choose the items they wanted, then get them tailored and accessorized. Andy's girls could use some help like that.

He is surely his mother's son, not his dad's. He seems very down to earth and honest, not pompus like the rest of the family.

Yes, I loved the bouquet. I find most traditional bride's bouquets to be boring or distracting from the bride's dress.

I agree, I loved the bouquet, really fitting to the relatively understated dress she wore (as compared to other royal weddings, and some 'common' ones too :/)
