Thanks guys. My broker says I can thank the government for all these pesky regulations. Another month of paying double the payment my loan was approved for is going to hurt. A lot. But if the market had been regulated, then we wouldn’t be in this mess, I guess.

The NYSE is nearly as evil as Bin Laden.

I couldn't care less what those bandits think.

Well, if the markets are rallying, that can only mean one thing.

It was Osama bin Laden that was keeping everyone un-employed, crashed Wall Street and the economy of the world, and caused the real estate bubble to burst. So glad he is gone. Now, the sun will come out, flowers will bloom, children and bunnies will run through the meadows, and everything will be so beautiful.

Because, clearly, without Osama bin Laden, all the terrorists will just vanish; kinda like a vampire. You kill the head vampire, and all the smaller vampires instantly catch fire and are reduced to a handful of ashes.

So, let's bring all the troops back home, call it "mission accomplished" (again), and focus on serious stuff, like giving Wall Street more money, because they've been so good to us.

Sweetness and Light now? I don't think so. ObL was just one problem and had been pretty marginalized over the last several years, don't you think? He needed killing, I agree, but that will not be the answer to any of today's problems. The Middle East is still very unsettled; international economy is still holding on for dear life; and the US remains politically polarized, unable to see to its own house.

Yes, but it may inspire confidence, and that goes a long ways towards making things better.

I'm a cynic, not a pessimist, but I do think that anyone whose confidence is inspired by this one thing is just delusional.

ah... you mean like we wanted the British to stay and help us build up our country after the revolutionary war?
Because I, for one, am ready to end this GOP dalliance of our lives and money.

Bring them home this week.
We could have all our guys and the equipment back here in a month.

yes...I DO recognize sarcasm on occasion.
But, bad news is, it's still up to US (that's "US", WE the People, not "US" the United States) it's still up to us to bring an end to oil and gas use at the present levels.

Want lower prices?
Everyone should use less.
Less demand, I believe, equals lower prices, does it not?

Watch millions be made today. The same people against Obama and his administration will make a killing off of Osama's killing.

Some way, the Donald is going to find a way to catch some air time.

Fox may have been running the commercials to buy Gold but it has been our NBC, CBS, AND ABC stations for the past year that have been running the ads to sell your Gold! The American dollar is headed OUT! Check out the pilot program they are running in Salt Lake City called "Isis".. It's a cashless systeym and will be put into play for the whole USA by 2016... They just don't want you to know it yet. And all those who have sold all their "old jewery" will see how they've been scammed.. And though Bin Ladens death has boosted the market today, our greatest threat comes from within our own Government!

This is pure nonsense. The author is extremely naive or just stupid. The death of OBL will do NOTHING to help the average American find work, hang on to their homes, find affordable health insurance. Nice try though.

exactly, this changes nothing we will still prosecute the idiotic and useless "war on terror" the same way we still wage the idiotic and useless "war on drugs" both are useless wastes of money and resources that could be solved if common sense was applies (peace in the middle east, legalize drugs)

If I understand this correctly, the price of gas may now go down from $4.25 to $4.21.
