Hey John Boehner, where are the jobs? What jobs bill legislation have you introduced? On this subject, I have not heard a peep from Boehner since he became speaker of the house.

Fan 40 for you. The jobs will be front and center when the Democrats re-take the House and add to the Senate in 2012. This has to be the most ineffective House in history.

Methinks the major Republican problem is that they were able to sell their 'Jobs, Jobs, Jobs' mantra to voters desperate for help, then revealed that it was all a silly ploy to push through pet social changes that had nothing to do with helping those most in need of help. Why should they have a 'jobs plan'? How does a 'jobs plan' help the Republicans? They have been shown to be two-faced and completely in the control of entities like the Koch Brothers and others of their stripe.
These eager children elected to Congress have no experience and see that as a plus which is pretty scary; it's like asking a 12 year old to rebuild the engine is a Ferrari without a manual. As long as nothing's left over, the rebuild would be seen as successful, just don't turn that key!

Freedom is Fundamental
10:33 AM on 05/22/2011
75 years of acting as accommodationists to the social democratic state has rendered the Republican Party entirely useless.

The Tea Party Takeover of the party is its ONLY saving grace.

Failing to fully support the Tea Party Revolution would render the Republican Party worse than useless and signal its self immolation.

It is better to have a single social democratic party in charge so that blame can be assigned undiluted as government continues to be the disaster it has long been.

Social democracy is an abject failure and it is long since time to defeat it directly through the Tea Party Revolution … or let it defeat itself through its never ending incompetence and snake pit rent seeking.

So, don’t mourn the demise of the Republican Party. The demand for freedom that the Tea Party represents will never go away and, whether by means democratic or extra-democratic, freedom will be restored to all Americans.

Boehner's "threat" may be the Young Guns?

1) I wouldn't call them a threat.
2) I would call them those who will oppose the wimpy get-along tactics of the classic Republican leadership.

With these guys, i know "guns" is not a reference to a smoking piece of cold steel.

Their guns blast urine, not bullets.

They mostly aim for the middle class, but they're young and have more power and volume than they have control or common sense. Better take your umbrella to work, Boehner.

Throwing urine, putting Christ's statue in urine, etc., is a LEFT-WING tactic, not conservative.

You can declare it is Left Wing, but I tend to believe that these types of expressions come from out of a mind that has no political affilations or concern about the impact such displays bring. I am not conservative but I find it offensive because of my spiritual beliefs.

This is what happens when a political party starts making the "Federal Government" the bad guy. The Fed-R-Us -- literally. Sometimes the Feds overstep, but basically the liberals and the liberal policies that have been put in place since FDR have been for the "general welfare" of the U.S. population -- protecting seniors, protecting the environment, protecting workers, making education more accessable, etc. PAYING for all these benefits.

Now what have the Republican'ts done for the "general welfare" of the U.S. population????? Cut taxes = bigger deficits, letting banks and Wall Street run amonk, cut taxes, not cutting expenses, cut taxes, drugs benefits for seniors -- NOT PAYING for them, etc, etc.

Huh! Interesting that the chronological detailing of prominent Republican players ended with Ryan's rise to stardom, but made no mention of his current dubious status.

Ryan took his Roadmap to the press before taking it to the leadership. Maybe he should have done the same with his "Path to Prosperity" budget so his colleagues could have seen the public reaction and saved their political futures instead of voting for a budget with such an unpopular plan for Medicare.
