Another one bites the dust! How many "economic advisors" has O-ba-maa lost now? Too bad he doesn't get rid of Little Timmy Geithner....This administration will go down as economically inept!

No-Term senator from illinois barack obama : "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America".
Transformation - 1a. Of or relating to the foundation or base; elementary: the fundamental laws of the universe. b. Forming or serving as an essential component of a system or structure; central: an example that was fundamental to the argument. c. Of great significance or entailing major change: a book that underwent fundamental revision.
see from the definition, fundamentally transforming something (in this case the United States of America) means to markedly change the nature, function, or condition of the foundation or base, forming or serving as an essential component of a system.
So what is it, exactly, that No-Term senator from illinois barack obama needs to markedly change? What is the foundation or base of the United States of America, the essential component of our system (our government)? I would argue it is the Constitution of the United States of America. But does the U.S. Constitution need to be markedly changed? I would argue, of course it does not. No-Term senator from illinois barack obama couldnt have possibly meant to fundamentally transform the Constitution of the United States of America, could he?

But what of the future? What is the great danger to our national trade and prosperity with which we are confronted at the present time? It is purely the rapid growth in numbers, in influence, in prestige, of a great body of our fellow citizens who are being taught to repeat and believe in the false doctrines of Socialism, which, if ever seriously put into practice, would reduce this country to chaos and starvation.

Now it is in the face of this danger that I ask: How long are we going to continue to allow the artificially fomented jealousies and quarrels of Republicans and Democrats to play into the hands of the Socialists? How long are the interests of the country to suffer from sterile party conflicts in the presence of an advancing peril? How long are the Republicans and Democrats to paralyse each other so that both may be ruled by a Socialist minority?

It's already happened and they are in the whitehouse right now, socialists, marxists commies.

you want some Obama lies?
At his inagural address 08/28/08 and yes the source is questionable it%u2019s the Huff n Puff post

"I will cut taxes for 95 percent of all working families. Because in an economy like this, the last thing we should do is raise taxes on the middle class,"

I will eliminate capital gains taxes for the small businesses and the start-ups that will create the high-wage, high-tech jobs of tomorrow.

And for the sake of our economy, our security, and the future of our planet, I will set a clear goal as President: in ten years, we will finally end our dependence on oil from the Middle East.

As President, I will tap our natural gas reserves, invest in clean coal technology, and find ways to safely harness nuclear power.
09:42 AM on 06/07/2011
yeah and tell us that ifthe economy is in the same shape it is in now, OR WORSE, that Obama has a snowballs chance in he** of getting reelected. Sorry, but if you look at history, Unless something changes quick, Obama's doomed

obama and his team of socialists do not have a clue how business works! I am almost sorry for them with their juvenile inexperience and they are way over their head but cannot admit it. They have never ran even a Mc donalds. God have mercy on us! Forgive us our stupidity in electing him knowing full well he was Pro socialism and Pro Abortion as well as anti Business.

When is this president going to understand "teachers" that have never done anything but teach, never contributed to the economy by making, selling or growing anything for their livelyhood, can't run a country or economy? All these people have done NOTHING but take tax dollars or contributions to live on all their lives. That's why they want to feed on the fears of dependent people by lying and berating the very people that actually PAY their way and support the disenfrachised. This whole mess we are in now was NOT started by Bush, but by Clinton during the last years of his presidency. That, if you look it up, is inarguable. Ever since we were attacked though,, the left has been Bush bashing to throw you off, and becuase they are very angry still, that they were not in the White House when we were attacked. Is so disgusting.

After considerable reflection and time well spent consulting his remaining advisers Obama's press secretary will announce later today that the president will reach out to Andrew Weiner to replace departing chief economic adviser Austan Goolsbee. Unnamed insiders claim a job offering is imminent should Weiner decide to resign from his congressional post.

The administration believes that Weiner has recently demonstrated he has the "tools" to help prop up the economy and noted that they need more advisers to stand up and show what they've got!

Does anyone recall a meeting in early February, 2009 when President Obama responded to an opposing opinion by simply saying, " I won!." Speaks volumes and explains a lot. Maybe his advisers are growing weary of the trite "empty suit" response and are not willing to hear the echo as the ship sinks.
09:24 AM on 06/07/2011
sherylynne - this was in response to a McCain statement - in a republican meeting with the Pres. about I think Obamacare. At the time - I was appalled at the arrogance of the statement - especially considering what the meeting was about.

That is sad, there was an article in our hometown news paper, about the care of patients with private insurance vs those on Medicaid or Medicare and it showed those with private insurance got better treatments, and were more likely to survive serious illnesses, infections such as sepsis (shich is deadly).....O-Care will be nothing more than Medicaid! AND possibly worse!

Another rats runs before the ship goes down. Obama poll numbers out this morning are the worse yet. The bin laden deal has worn off and people are back to jobs and the economy. All the economical and jobs info released at the end of last week did not help his situation. The poll even states Mitt Romney leads him now by 3%. The polls also state people now trust the republicans more for fixing the economy then the democrats. Pelosi's rating are at a all time low but she still beats out Reid who is at his lowest level ever.
