What a contrast in goalies. Steady and consistent Thomas vs. schízophrenic Luongo.

Humble, down-to-earth Thomas, VS self absorbed, trash-talking Luongo.....

Puck the Canucks.

Wow, wow, wow, I cheered for both teams to meet in the Stanley Cup, now I wish I hadn't. Being a Canadian, we need a cup bad, but I love the Bruins too! Oh the stress! Get game 7 over with now!

The story of this series is a healthy Canucks team is better than the Bruins, however they are not healthy and getting less so. Home team has held serve in the first 6 games, but they have been squeakers in BC and laughers in Mass. As a hockey fan I am excited to see game 7. Can Vancouver hold? Will Boston break through on the West Coast? Will Luongo return to west coast form or will he be Swiss Cheese.

And size matters: see Chara Lucic.

Great series so far, love hockey, Game 7 will hopefully be a good one.

What makes you say a healthy Canucks team is better than the Bruins? The Bruins aren't healthy either and they have held their own skating just fine with a team that was supposed to be superior to them. The Canucks were the only team from their division to make the playoffs, they clearly hadn't faced a team with a defensive unit like the Bruins. The game isn't only offense and that isn't the only measure of a great team.

Nothing better than a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals. Can't wait.

Of course, the home team has won every game so far. As a Bruins' fan, this makes me nervous.

yeah, but even on home ice, the nucks haven't scored more than one, and last night was a big deal for them, they had two... if the bears can get the first goal, that usually puts the canucks in the toilet. they are so flighty that way, inconsistent when they aren't leading.
12:17 PM on 06/14/2011
Yeah, if Boston can attack early like last night, it could be a long night for Roberto and the Canucks.

But that place will be insane. I've got a buddy going up there from Portland and he said for the first time in his life he may actually bring earplugs to an event.

I was rooting for the Canucks for stupid sentimental reasons when this started (I knew Ryan Kesler's family growing up) but I have been very impressed with the Bruins this series. Being a Wings fan, I'd of course love it if Lidstrom and the boys had been in this one, but it's nice to sit back and just watch the game without losing my mind over blown calls by the refs or huge hits that take out a favorite player. Home ice has been a factor so far, so it's going to be a great Game 7! Can't wait!

What, you mean Raymond? I never called him a diver, nor was it a bad hit. I'm never glad to see a player from any Team hurt, except maybe that weasel Burrows.

Thelma and Louise dived about 3 times.

Boston will Win the Cup.

Go Bruins, time to bring the Stanley Cup home to Boston!

The Bruins ran circles around the Canucks, seemed a very uneven match.

To improve their game, the Canucks will have to find a goalie who can actually prevent goals, and stop turning over the puck on a constant basis. A few times in the game, they passed the puck directly to the Bruins. Unbelievable.

For the Bruins to win it all, they just need to keep the Canucks the standing in front of the goal. While they won this game, it is clear that the second goal from the Canucks should have never happened. Outside of this issue, there is no reason the Bruins shouldn't win it all!

Great game last night. I hope Timmy can steal one more for us.
I actually liked Vancouver before this series, which all changed after game 1, of course. I like Luongo, I think he is a great goalie, but I do think Timmy is better. I think some of the things Luongo said were blown out of proportion, but he should know better than to make comments DURING the playoffs. I do think it is funny that the Boston sports radio show now refers to him as LEBRONgo though, after the "I" am going to win the Cup, instead of we. But I think Luongo is a good guy.
And seeing the Sedin twin getting popped in the face by Marchand over and over again without doing a thing, made my night. Marchand is like a little rat, but come on, how could you let him do that to you and just take it?
Anyways, I cannot wait for game 7. I have been waiting ALL of my life for this.
GO BRUINS!!!!

he'll have to...Vancouver gets last change. Unless Chara can play 60. SOMEBODY else has to step up...but then again he has all series...lucky for you your BEST player is the goalie...everybody else...average at best

Average? You show how little you know. Their defensive core is top notch. And while they don't have any elite goal scorers they have a bunch of players who play well at both ends of the ice while teams like Tampa and Vancouver have great scorers who can be shut down (the Sedin sisters for example) and don't play defense.
