JURY RUSHED TO VERDICT....GREEDY FOR $$$$$...SHE AND BAEZ KNEW THAT...SHAME ON THE JURORS!!!

Hey "Hammerhead" there is nothing Proud orPretty about that low life at all....she got away with it ...she's not innocent

This is insane. These people on the jury did their duty, and they should be left alone. They came to the only conclusion they could, based on the evidence they were presented with. HLN and Nancy Grace should be ashamed of themselves for keeping the mob riled up.

They "did" their duty?

How so?

By considering the opening statements as evidence, by discussing George to the exclusion of the ACCUSED?

By demanding $$$$ to talk, then accusing others of harassing THEM?

Guess you missed the OCSO presser just now where they admitted they are investigating "witness tampering" charges.........hmmmmm.....wonder who is behind that?

people are trying to turn this thinf into a double jepordy thing its over whether right or wrong the jury spoke and the defence kicked the prosecuters but second degree or manslaughter she would have found guilty but first degree with a death sentence procution your big time show broke down People its over leave them all alone including Lacey

Nice logic. You know, people who make things happen,ie; change laws, invent vaccines, etc., do not do that by simply thinking "get over it, it's done", or having a flip attitude. They discuss things and try to make sense of it all.

Yeah, and they also apparently try to stir up a nationwide lynch mob. The total lack of faith in our legal system is disgusting - I'd love to see some of the bloodthirsty judges here on trial and see how they like being crucified by the entire nation.

Mr. Paul, Get over yourself. It is NOT DONE. Try getting over your child or grandchild being murdered - Perhaps you have none. Calleys law now may become real. This is about our justice system and human man kind. NO it is NOT OVER and more than 1/2 of the world agrees with that.

Absolutely disgusting! These people did their civic duty and now are being punished for it, and people think that's okay? If you must be angry at someone, be angry at the prosecutor, but this kind of harassment is NEVER okay! Revolting!

I can go for that. The jurors blew this one, but it is over. They made a mistake. Let's see if any juror tries to make big bucks out of it. The evidence was circumstantial but the odor of decomposing flesh is unmistakable. The "it was a pizza box, cheese or garbage" is insane. They thought George was lying, but they KNOW Casey lied on everything. No common sense. And about "reasonable doubt"; if you wake up in the morning and everything outside is wet with puddles, the weather channel says your area may have rain, the sky is cloudy ... can a reasonable person conclude that it rained? Is there "reasonable doubt"? Probably not, but it is possible some joker sprayed a hose all over your property, or the lawn sprinklers were left on. The jurors interpreted reasonable doubt as beyond any doubt.

They could not even find abuse and that little girls body was found in a black plastic bag, with tape around her mouth, they do not deserve better. It seemed to me there was no compassion for little Caylee. Let them be worried.

Christ, people! What is wrong with you? They did their job, leave them alone! You have NOTHING to do with this case. How is our justice system suppose to work if potential jurors are too scared to serve, or only pick a verdict based on popular opinion?
01:50 PM on 07/12/2011
What is wrong with YOU? How do you find a jury with over 400 pieces of evidence to consider not ask for EVEN ONE piece to consider "doing their job.?"

Oh they sequestered and sat in the courtroom but apparently nothing was going on upstairs except thoughts of how soon they could leave.

People are outraged because they care about crime, justice, and what goes on in this country. Apparently you don't.

I think she should have been convicted, but then again, it has nothing to do with me either. If you are going to go after anyone at all for this, why not Casey Anthony herself? Get off your high horse. Do something worthwhile instead of whining about how unfair the world is. Volunteer for Missing and Exploited Children. Join the neighborhood watch. But I'm sure you won't do any of those things, because you're just jumping on the fanatical bandwagon. You'll forget about this in a year or two and move on to the next tragedy.

I so agree with you - leave 'em alone. I still wonder, however, why a mother who never reported a missing child is not guilty of neglect. I just don't get it. Still we have to respect our legal system.

Trust me, I can't believe it either. She SHOULD have been convicted, but that doesn't mean we go after the jurors, you know? Make them live with their guilt.

THE DUCT TAPE WAS THE MURDER WEAPON you yahoos...Trial by jury in America can never work as it should because the jury pool is so ; pick one - 1 )stupid,2) uninformed,3) unable to follow directions, 4)all of the above.

You believe the duct tape was the murder weapon, It was never PROVEN to be the murder weapon. The jury followed their instructions to the letter, they based their verdict on the evidence as it was presented to them in court.

I think it's safe to say that most of us believe Casey Anthony had something to do with the death of her daughter, but none of us know that for a fact. The evidence just wasn't there. Juries can't convict someone based on emotions.
03:47 PM on 07/12/2011
mandyjane...you are right that juries should not convict based on someone's emotions. However, it appears the jury did just that. How else can you explain being shown evidence, reasons for harm to the child, (partying, lying about child's whereabouts to LE) AND not reporting her baby missing for over a month (and it was grandma that called 911, not CMA)!!!!!! Instead the jury let their emotions hold sway based on Baez' baseless claim of the baby drowning and speculation of George molesting Casey. The decision to acquit indeed involved emotions....that is why this whole story is so sad.

And it was NEVER proven to be a drowning either, but that didn't stop the hillbilly hicks from blaming George for being involved and he WASN'T on trial.

The jury foreman ADMITTED on Greta last night that they ignored the judge's admonition to disregard ANY evidence from the opening statements cuz "you can't unring that bell!".............ADMITTED it!
