Obama must stay on his hopeful message...no matter what! We on the other hand have a duty to take her down and hit her over the head with her kitchen sink...because everyone knows that her dish water is very dirty and must be brought to light. She is baiting him into a dirty fight and then she can be a victim again...she loves playing the victim it is her addiction. The Republicans are ready to destroy her in the General Election...we better do it before she takes down our champion.

"Cday" for Clinton: APRIL 15th, the day the world sees the Tax Records and her "night shift" fantasy will be revealed to be a multi-million dollar windfall made in partnership with the Sultan of Dubai and Ron Burkle... unless H&R Block misplaces them! ;)

Since Sen. Obama is my candidate of choice, I'm a little down that he didn't clinch it last night. However, if the democratic party honors the delegate count, he should still win the nomination.

I also have to say, what a disgraceful, awful role model Hillary Clinton is to young people. Her message: gutter politics are the way to win! Accuse your opponent of the things you've done because the one who smears first wins! And then don't forget to deny deny deny! (And then for good measure, kids, attack any words of inspiration in speeches as "irrelevant." Who cares about Lincoln's beautiful words? Or JFKs? Or FDR's, etc. Who cares if those words gave people the renewed drive to rise above their troubles? Forget the gorgeous speeches of Martin Luther King? Just stupid speeches! Make fun of them.

And equally complicit in this vulgarian strategy are those who reward her for it.

This thing is gonna get uglier if only because the next few weeks are going to be nothing but spin. HRC only won OH with 54% and TX 51% (MSNBC). Those are not big margins. She's gonna be talking momentum, Barack's gonna be talking about delegates and the fact that she can't win.

This is what's gonna be ugly.

ON TO PA! ON TO DENVER and a BROKERED CONVENTION! TALLYHO! The fracturing of the Democratic Party is happening right before our eyes. Though it's a long time to November in Political Years and anything can happen, it's FUN to watch!

Absolutely. Without regard to party, for political junkies this is heaven.

It is sad.
Every day about the same time, the James gang rides in---horses lathered. They shoot the place up,
"Yeeeeeeeehahhhhaaaaaah !!!", scare the townfolk, strut about, guns on hips, and just generally take over the place. Then comes the barroom brawl. Decent folk just gradually fade away, looking for another town---here, thread---to enjoy themselves in.
It is sad.
(Especially because, when the gang members put their minds to it, they can put out a pretty good post.)
Why do you have to be so awkward?

you know it's inevitable, it will be asked, with a women as president do women then get their wish and be allowed into full combat rolls in Iraq and in future conflicts?

Other countries have had woman presidents and prime ministers long before we will. For supposedly being the world's best and mightiest, we sure have been backward in this regard.

Many female enlistees welcome a full combat role. What most Americans know, however, is that most of us do not want ongoing wars that make this possible. Women are no less capable than a man in most pursuits so if the ladies want to do it ...they should go for it.
08:23 AM on 03/05/2008
I don't believe in women being in combat.
08:08 AM on 03/05/2008
Well, looks like we continue on. Must say it's no surprise given the slime machine delivered by Clinton. I know it's just politics. Well so much for the high road. I must admit I'm a little disappointed in Rhode Island but otherwise it was expected. She is rather a genius spinner I will give her that. Given my intense dislike for dirty politics my only form of protest was to change my party affiliation to Independent. I sent the form in this morning. Other then that should be a fun couple of weeks -Changing the status quo is always difficult when people with power are so heavily invested in the current way of doing things. Making politicians realize they represent us not themselves appears more difficult then even I expected. Let the fight continue.
08:13 AM on 03/05/2008
Obama will have to fight back. He can't let her attacks go along and act above it all. That's why Kerry lost.

Did you know that Hillary is not a victim...that she actually was having a long term affair with Vince Foster before his suicide. They worked at the Rose Law Firm together and carried on into the White House. She was Cheating on Bill while he was cheating on her...thats why she was not really upset by the affairs. It was all a manipulation of public oppinion.
08:26 AM on 03/05/2008
Yes I did - I'm an Obama supporter, I guess given her dirt dishing we are now free to dish some to.

I noticed she was not publicly angry at Bill but she sure was angry that the right-wingers made a point to let us know that he was having an affair. Perhaps she was just mad that their privacy had been breached.

I'm also quite aware of the hypocrisy of the right wing. A whole slew of them were participating in their own sexual flings, but because Bill was president, they made HIS affair a big deal - national security and all, blah, blah, blah. As we all know, Democrats can't have sex - much too "dirty" - but Republicans consider themselves hot, little sex machines!

Hillary is ambitious and wants to be president more than anything.

Oh, and Obama does not?

McCain is not quite sure if he remembers exactly what it is he is meant to be doing, he is on autopilot.
08:11 AM on 03/05/2008
He's going to the White House today and the chip they previously implanted in his brain will be activated---the Crawfordian Candidate.
08:15 AM on 03/05/2008
I wonder if the software has been updated, plenty of glitches in version 21.

But you see, Senator Clinton's ambition is so blind and vicious. The others just want to do the right thing for the country.

Heh.

Anyone that runs for president has a whopper ego and oodles of self-confidence - it's only a bad thing in Senator Clinton.

It looks like I got an answer to my question that I asked yesterday.
Who runs this great country of ours,Rush A. Limbaugh,Sean A. Hannity, and all of these so called talk show host or the American people?
Rush A. Limbaugh asked all his conservative listeners to vote for Hillery and it looks like some of them did.
So now we know who runs this great country of ours. Its ashame that we are going down the tube.

If they were running the country, McCain would not be their parties nominee.
08:11 AM on 03/05/2008
That was a trick , did not work. It was Rovian for Rush , indirectly saying vote for Barack !

Actually Barack shoud blame all the sappy journalists, like Mathews/Russert , for diluting his talants .

If Hillary becomes Commander in Chief, should the military change it's policies an allow women into full combat rolls in Iraq and other future wars?

Congratulations to Rodham and her supporters for their victories last night. Alas, even had those results represented twice as many delegates, it won't be enough to give her the nomination. It seems that all that has been accomplished is to forestall the inevitable, and it will cost Democrats millions more before, in the end, we start campaigning against McCain.

In any and all instances we must remember that the single most important thing is to work to regain a super majority in both houses of Congress, so that no matter what the outcome of the general election, either the Democratic candidate will have overwhelming support to reverse the catastrophic Cheney years or McCain will be completely ineffective in his efforts to attack Iran, Venezuela and every other country on the little madman's hit list.
