Sean Hoare and Mike Connell have much in common now that the GOP and News Corp have become one:

It's [semi] stories like this that explains why I don't depend of the network news to 1/2 teaspoon [15 seconds] what they consider [instructed] important

It's absence from the news speaks volumes in and of itself.

this guy hacked phones on government officials as well. probably upon request of opponents for office. he more than likely had allot of dirt on a number of high ranking officials. no wonder it's not "big news". but hey, apple announced a new mac book... now thats big news.

He made powerful enemies in the media and police departments. Of course they don't suspect foul play. Reminds me of a scene in a Tom Clancy novel where the guy is forced to overdose on heroin so it looks accidental.

Sure does. I have watched movies for 40 years so of course I am expert at investigation.

Movies tend to take reference from actual incidences. While there are absurdity, there's possibility in it.

Why isn't this bigger news? Too coincidental to be a coincidence.

Agreed. Yesterday when I searched Sean Hoare's name in the HP search bar, nothing about his death came up , and yet this morning when I searched I found this article from 2 days ago. In any event, it stinks all around.

I agree with you and lawgrrl. Something smells with this, and there are many, many ways his cause of death could be hidden and/or what's being reported is simply not the truth. It's just too coincidental to not raise questions.

Why not look on the Guardian website. They're the ones responsible for breaking the story - the lead investigative journalist was a friend of Hoare and wrote a piece after he died.

Partisan agendas can't compete with objective fact

One would think that in a story that is trying to imply that a death was suspicious, one would actually mention THE AGE OF THE "VICTIM."
BTW, he was 47 or 48.
11:22 AM on 07/21/2011
Thank you! I've noticed that simple fact conspicuously missing from every other article I've seen about his death, and it's annoyed me no end.
11:20 PM on 07/25/2011
Of course the age is not mentioned because it raises suspicion that the death was not due to natural causes.

Murdoch is a lot like a Mafia boss.  Classy.  I'm sure nobody will bother to look into this.

Hope the prison guards are keeping a close eye on Bernie Kerik. I think he might have some interesting information about Murdoch, RudiGudi and 9/11. Check out Kerik's other gigs before coming back to NYC right before 9/11. Especially his Saudi connections under "Career". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Kerik

At the risk of upsetting the conspiracy theorists, I recommend an article on Hoare by Nick Davies, a friend of Sean Hoare, and the Guardian journalist most responsible for uncovering the whole phone hacking story. He simply does not question the cause of death, and gives ample background to support the notion of suicide, including, "He said he started to have fits, that his liver was in such a terrible state that a doctor told him he must be dead."

I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist by any stretch, but this "coincidence" defies a simple explanation. I do believe that when friends or enemies of the wealthy and powerful die suddenly, suicide seems to be the explanation of choice, and it's difficult to accept that it just happened to occur immediately after he began revealing such destructive information.

If he was indeed murdered, it was pretty useless. murdoch's empire and all involved are coming down with or without him; hard.
