Not a fan of hers, but they could have come up with a better photo of her. No use intentionally making her look bad.

"No use intentionally making her look bad."

She does a good job herself at doing that?

This photograph is clearly a posed photograph. So she doesn't like the results. Lots of times people have to pose for photographs and don't get second chances, like driver's licenses, or faculty and student ID's dressed as such and posed as such, there is no possibility that this was an incidental photo.

Frankly, I think this photograph is allegorically very intense. Mrs. Bachmann is no kitty or puppy or friendly liitle fish in a bowl to watch and enjoy. She IS more like a tiger or a pit bull or a shark, and after all, as every smart Republican knows, ANY PUPBLICITY IS BETTER THAN NO PUBLICITY, and this was the cover of News week, WHAT MORE COULD SHE WANT???

As they say, a picture tells a thousand words, and this lady of a thousand words just showed who she really is (by the way, for a rich/wealthy woman, she and her husband have been living off government subsidies for a very long time, but its different for them, THEY REALLY DESERVE IT...smile for the picture, baby)

A very modest cover. Had foam come out of her mouth, it would have been more accurate. She brainwashes vulnerable children and into killing themselves because they're gay. No tree high ...

It the story is about how she feels about the "evils of government" why is she running for any public office? Anti government sound like anarchist lingo to me. Radical, extremist, and removed from the norm.

Those would be pearls. Oysters don't make good jewelry.

She looks like a deer in the headlights. It's a pretty cool picture. My dentist will probably cancel his Newsweek subscription. Darn.

Bachmann posed for this. It's simply a failed attempt at hiding crowsfeet with smiling eyes and a squint. I fault Tyra Banks and NewsWeeks makeup artist for this. #AirbrushFAIL

Another liberal media on self destruct. If you want credibility with your readers, you don't deliberately use a poor photo of someone who is respected by half your subscribers... Until today, I've never known Newsweek to have a preference with Dem or Repub. They obviously do and I have no need to ever pickup another one of their publications because I would now be suspicious of their motives.

Conservatives insult their own by presuming that their voters are swayed by the nuances of a photo. What voter would admit to the influence of a photo? OK, they won't admit it.

Whether or not you like her or not isn't the point. It's OBVIOUS Newsweek was trying to make her look unstable. So, the point is, once again, mainstream media with a Liberal slant (for lack of a stronger word) shows it's colors. Come on people, just admit it. If you don't, you're lying to yourselves.

She has that crazed look in her eyes, to put it bluntly and it's a bit creepy. That, or over projection for the camera.. either way, not flattering at all.

It's so nice to see an open minded American woman making an unjaded observation of another by using such vivid descriptions of another, especially when they've never met. Keep classy America!

She's waiting for more taxpayer money to spend on her husbands anti-gay clinic, and so she can get her hair and makeup done.
She's spent more than $5000 on her hair and makeup since her announcement that she'll run for President. She lives off taxpayers money, but decries Obama and his policies.
Hypocrite? Oh yeah. Do as I say, and not as I do is her motto. It seems to be the Tea Baggers motto, also the GOP/Republicans motto too.
I'm like to know what planet her, her husband and her followers live on.
