"This isn't right, this isn't even wrong." - Pauli

Matt Damon hit on exactly the issue that our schools increasingly face, namely MBA thinking. I never really thought about it, but it's true. The approach being taken isn't focused on how do we best educate this individual student so they reach their individual potential, it's based on creating competition between schools, communities, curriculums, districts and individuals, and turning the teaching profession into a sort of profession sports coach, whose job depends on how they do in the broader 'competition'.

These are awful. I'm so glad my kids are not allowed to wear this kind of junk at school.

Companies are in business to make money- there would be no one to blame for the type of sentiments expressed on that sweatshirt than parents who buy/bought them along with the same parents who buy thongs and push up bras for tween and preteen girls.

Holy cr@p! I actually thought they were real for a second. My heart dropped a little at the thought of my 13 year old sister wearing a t-shirt that says "future trophy wife".
Phew.

I've seen trophy wife shirts before.  They may have been "future trophy wife" ones too but I can't remember.

I don' think the No.8, about the "speling" would sell very good, as the kids would find nothing wrong with it, and it wouldn't be funny enough for them.

Wow. These are disgusting. Adding to the anti-education rhetoric in this nation and degrading women more. Great. That's all we need.

‎....and we wonder what is wrong with our society??? JCPenny's is sure getting their free amount of publicity for this product. The parents that would see nothing wrong with most of this line of t's are the same ones that think it's ok to allow their 12 yr. old little girls dress as a hooters girl and their boys as pimps for Halloween!!

Okay, I kind of love "Who Needs Math When You're Already a 10." That one is a viable shirt. Perhaps not for school girls, but some college-aged man or woman could wear that.
