Stephen! Yes, you, Stephen Colbert! Let this be a warning to you. Beware, the bears are out there.

Bear Threat Level just went up a notch, if that's possible.

I once shot an elephant in my pajamas.
How he got into my pajama I will never know!

Are you sure it wasn't one of those worm snakes? :-)

Are you implying you have an elephant's trunk in your britches? ;)

As real estate expands, so shrinks an animal's habitat.

They should have had some sort of a firearm.

Bears?

I'm sure the bear was just minding his own business- when the dog just started smack-talking like he has been known to do...

This is what happens when we leave them no habitat. Brave woman though, she may have to give lessons.

"a woman was attacked as she tried to chase the animal away"... One of the many many things not to do when you have a bear inside or outside your habitat.

At my house the bear would have been met with about 10 .40cal rounds.

Why people who live far enough out in the country to have this problem are not prepared is a mystery.

There was a black beer in our neighborhood. It swam over from a nearby island.
We live very close to a major American city and it was walking around looking for food. What a shock!
Sounds like they have a doggie door and the bear followed the dog in.
Doggie dog around here is a bad idea. Too many raccoons and opossums

Yeah, why not LEAVE the house?
