In just about every interview former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton does, she is pressed on the issue of running in 2016. She wrote the book, she is making public appearances, and she is even going to Senator Harkin's (D-Iowa) annual steak fry. If that doesn't scream candidacy, I am not sure what does. So, give the woman her time. (But seriously Hillary, let me know your plans). While I hold my breath in anticipation of the announcement, I have been thinking of ways in which Clinton enthusiasts can truly get ready for Hillary.

1.Buy yourself a pant suit

We all know Clinton is the unrivaled queen of the pant suit. But every ruler needs her blazer-clad minions. So why not pledge your allegiance to the suit and to the queen by getting that perfectly fitted black-on-black number? No doubt you can wear this power outfit on all your interviews and to Hillary themed parties.

2.Read Hard Choices
Whether or not you agree with the actions of Secretary Clinton, brushing up on the Arab Spring and Benghazi details will certainly make you an educated voter. There are also pictures in the book -- woo!

3. Sharpen your Hillary meme knowledge
"Texts From Hillary" became a wildly popular blog because it reminded everyone that this is Hillary's world, and we are all just living in it. The iconic picture of her texting, while presumably throwing shade with her shades on solidifies her status as a boss.

4.Purchase Hillary Merchandise
The democratic diva already has a super PAC in her name which sells all the Hillary goods you could ever want. Nothing screams "presidential nominee 2016" like sipping a beverage out of Ready for Hillary Solo cups.

5.Wear scrunchies
Hillary famously said "If I want to knock a story off the front page, I just change my hairstyle." Take a page out of her book and rock a scrunchie. I have a feeling they will be all the rage circa November 2016.

6.Take a selfie with Meryl Streep
In your dreams... But still.

7.Remember Bill's legacy
President Clinton is widely regarded as having one of the strongest presidencies of the 20th century. He should be praised for his foreign and domestic affairs. Although he was the first Clinton in the White House, we can hope that he will not be the last.

8.Write a campaign song for Hillary
Remember Obama Girl? It is about time we commission a musician to pump out the newest hit about Hillary. I'm calling on you, Beyoncé.

9.Think about how far women have come
It is amazing to learn that women did not have the right to vote under 100 years ago. Women such as Hillary have been pivotal in giving females a voice in politics. In one century, it is possible for women to transition from being disenfranchised to running the Oval Office.

I don't know how much longer Hillary is going to make us wait before announcing her candidacy, but come on ... we are ready! Former Secretary of State Clinton has been my idol for as long as I can remember. I can think back to second grade when I chose to do a book report on her that called for creating a life size replica, which I still have somewhere. She has always been the face of a strong woman in politics, and her career has had profound impact on so many young women and men.
