Bunker-Busting Hawks

What's Your Reaction:

So, the Pentagon is looking into what bunker-busting bombs might do to Iran's underground nuclear sites. Even if it works (a doubtful proposition at best), wouldn't that just boost Iran's hardliners to crack down harder on the growing insurgency they face?

Signs point to the Obama Administration wanting to prove its toughness, which might fortify Democrats in the coming congressional elections.

On a recent trip to the Middle East, Secretary of State Clinton upped the ante, issuing ominous threats against Iran.

Oddly, while President Obama parts ways with Republicans on domestic issues, he seems more than eager to bind with them on foreign policy.

Fighting against bunkers will not work if you do not know where the bunkers are. It did not work in 2006 war in Lebanon for this simple reason.

Another reason it will not work in Iran is because of Iran's current strategy to use granite mountains as protection with over 500 feet of granite protecting sensitive industries.

This is only a ploy to use tax payers money to make another useless money.

It cost mush less to talk to these guys!

Here are some dots to connect. The alien mullah rulers of Iran have done a grand job bolstering the US military industrial complex (USMIC). USMIC is the backbone of the US, and the peace dividend would ruin the US economy.

So bolstering the mullahs is better than any Soviet threat ever was. These madmen are more hell bent on their belief and order for the world, that they have placed sanctions on Iranians, siphoned Iran's oil income for their dogma nukes, and IRGC forces.

As such these two military foes are helping each other. They do not want the peace dividend. So the US thanks the mullahs for making bunkers for them to test their missiles on. In the meantime the poor go hungry in both countries.

This is not rocket science. It is very easy to understand. The hard part is, why is it going on?

Good point. However, the Cheneys do not seem to be buying it and it seems Romney's book - not certain who will read it - is saying Obama is weak on foreign policy.
