On Current TV, Countdown guest host David Shuster and I discuss Rick Santorum's recent victories and whether Mitt Romney's massive campaign budget is paying off:

"The silver lining for Romney here is, with Santorum doing so well, the conservative vote is still split -- assuming Gingrich can stay on life support. We learned in Missouri, where Gingrich wasn't on the ballot, just how badly Romney can lose when that vote is consolidated for one person," says Crawford.
