House Dem Wimps

What's Your Reaction:

They say Obama has no backbone, but they're going to vote for his tax plan anyway? I don't get it. If House Democrats say the President has no spine because he compromised with Republicans to extend tax cuts for the rich why would they give in? Vote against it and hold out for a better deal. Vote for it and you're agreeing with Obama that this is all there is. Otherwise, just shut up.

I guess to play devils advocate...what happens if they vote against it and they get a WORSE deal for the American people?

The House Dems are not spineless. They are corrupt. That's all there is to it. None of their explanations make sense because it's all just a cover. They are, in fact, voting for tax cuts for themselves and holding the unemployed hostage until they get what they want.

This doesn't speak well of the Democrats at all. Just how will they show their faces to their constituents at Scrooge and Marley, and at the prisons and workhouses, once they cave-in to the Caver in Chief?

I'd really like to know how many of the 99ers didn't vote or voted republican in the mid-terms. For those that didn't vote for the democrats, if the tax cut fails and the republicans don't make any effort to come to your aid, this is your just reward . . .

Yup. If they actually had a spine they would have forced the issue before the election. Who knows? Maybe they would still be in the majority. We do know it wouldn't have been any worse for them than it actually was.

Perfectly said. Now they want to blame Obama for bailing them out with this deal..

The tax cuts are scheduled to expire at the end of the year. Plenty of people want them to expire, both on the hill and out in the country.

YOUR TALKING POINT DOESN"T MAKE ANY SENSE.

There was no way to rush the expiration.
