Damon L. Daniels is a graduate student at New York University, studying the relationships between African American political ideology, discourse, and popular culture. Prior to graduate school, he served as an educator with the New York City Dept. of Education. He continues to work with students as a member of the BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) Program in the Bronx, New York. An exercise enthusiast, he was recently hired as a personal trainer with Equinox. Damon lives in Harlem, New York.
