I'm going far out on a limb here, but presidential candidate Mike Huckabee (R-Arkansas) just might take lot of heat for his comment that "most of our prisoners would love to be in a facility more like Guantanamo and less like the state prisons that people are in in the United States."
The Heat on Huck will only get hotter, I predict. People are going to say he's misinformed. People are going to say he's ridiculous. People are going to ask, "Have Huckabee's media advisors already sent out their resumes, because of the flak he's going to take for this one?" Or did this one slip out of Huckabee's choppers, leading his supporters to shake their heads and say "What a schmuckabee!"
Let's give Huckabee a chance, however. If the Huckster truly believes what he said then he will take a bold step and propose the first ever exchange program between U.S. prisons and Guantanamo. Prisoners who want to move to Guantanamo, however, need to be prepared. Despite what ol' Huck says, I hear the interviews at Guantanamo are really, really tough.
