Dan McCrea is President of Florida Voters, which consists of two affiliates, Florida Voters Foundation, engaged in public interest research and education, and Florida Voters Coalition, engaged in specific lobbying. Both are non-partisan non-profits, with no ties to election vendors or political groups. Florida Voters believes elections must be a neutral field, where the public can speak, and be clearly heard, free of corporate, political or bureaucratic distortion.

Particular areas of focus include election audits, electronic transmission of voting materials, accessibility for persons with disabilities, UOCAVA voters, ethics, election administrative practices, and improving collaboration between local, state and national election reformers and funders.
