Dan Reed is a British film-maker who directs both non-fiction and drama, though his film-making roots are in documentary, for which he has gleaned many international awards. He joined the BBC as a researcher in 1990 and has worked as a freelance producer and director since 1998. His last film for HBO, "Terror in Moscow" was critically acclaimed and brought Dan his second BAFTA nomination. He lives in London, England, with his wife and 2 young children.
