Nikon has just upgraded their entry level camera with the new Nikon D3400. While very similar to the D5300 it replaced, the new keeps the same amazing 24.2MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 4 processor, but adds SnapBridge Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC for easy sharing between your camera and mobile devices. SnapBridge uses Bluetooth low energy to allow automatic sharing of 2MP images between your camera and phone which is great for sharing images immediately with others.

An optional kit including a new Nikkor 18-55mm lens is also available. This new lens uses and integrated pulse stepping motor for smooth and quiet autofocus performance which is great for video recording. The Nikon D5400 is available to purchase starting in mid September with preorders starting immediately. Pricing starts at $649 for the D5400 DSLR with 18-55mm Lens.
