What Will Your Legacy Be?

Most of us are so focused on our day-to-day that we never consider what we'll leave behind to represent the fact that we were here.

Even the cavemen left paintings on the wall by firelight so that future generations could receive their message. Why don't we care about legacy anymore?

It's really a shame, because legacy isn't about ego.

It's not about saying, "look at me... I'm the greatest!"

When you get right down to it...it's not really about being remembered at all.

It's not about any of that stuff.

Legacy is important because it influences how you look at your day-to-day decisions.

When you're busy creating a legacy, it affects how you spend your time, how you treat people and how you treat yourself.

If we are actively creating a legacy with intent and purpose, we won't accidentally spend our entire lives building something that we don't care about, only to realize we've wasted thousands of days when it's already too late.

There is no prize at the end of the game for most hours spent in a cubicle.
