The Best Food In America

Posted: 08/09/11 01:34 PM ET

Diving for sea urchin, urban gardens in New Orleans, catfish noodling, frog gigging, conspiracy theorists, geoducks and morel hunting are just a few of the stories that make up Season 2 of The Perennial Plate. Currently at halfway through its 6 month film shoot/real food expedition across the country, this video shares the unseen footage, favorite moments, and sneak peaks. It is three months of hunting, diving, farming and eating around the Western half of America fit into 2 minutes. A conglomeration of great food moments, this video shares a glimpse into the lives of food heroes across the country as well as the beautiful sights and flavors along the way.
