Sometime last week my friend, Noah Garfinkel, said he just wished that Alec Baldwin would be on CNBC in character talking about the economy because it would make him feel better. He didn't have the option, by the way, of not watching CNBC, because he was crashing on my couch at the time.
Well, I don't think they'll be bringing Alec on in character any time soon, but perhaps to comfort Noah (who was already having a bad day) NBC had the bright idea of putting this classic Baldwin SNL sketch up on the Internet this week, in light of the last few weeks' events.
He does have such a comforting voice, doesn't he?

I'm pretty sure the economy is already fixed, but I don't what Alec Baldwin might or might not have to do with it.
