The most amazing thing to me about all of this is that Republicans have convinced people to support tax cuts for the rich at the same time as claiming they're cutting the deficit. It used to be when we got into a crisis like the Great Depression, where Wall Street elites crashed the economy and stole everyone's money, we raised taxes on the rich and took away their power. Now, when Wall Street crashes the economy, they tell us its time to cut pensions, Social Security, and even cut jobs programs. Basically, they want to take from the poor instead of the rich to pay for the mistakes of the rich. And, at the same time, they still want tax cuts for the rich. I made a short video about this, which I think sums up the problem in just a few minutes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0Pn8kW6HBk

Democracy: 1 citizen, one vote.

Plutocracy: as many votes as you can buy.

When it updates I have accountability vs impunity and rule of law vs above the law.

Dave, that's not a chart. That's a two column table.

A two-column table that's hard to read because advertisements cover up part of it.

picky picky picky

To a humanities major like me, my first reaction would have been to call it a chart too.

The moment after I pressed ''post comment the word ''picky'' sounded in my head like a warning from the cosmos. Or from the Sheriff in Fargo!
