San Diego CityBeat is reporting that an ACORN worker in National City, Calif. has filed a federal lawsuit against conservatives activists James O'Keefe and Hanna Giles over violations of California's privacy code.

Juan Carlos Vera was one of many ACORN employees who were secretly video taped by O'Keefe and Giles, who pretended to be a pimp and prostitute and asked for help with a human-trafficking scheme. He was fired when O'Keefe released the edited footage

A report from California Attorney General Jerry Brown found that Vera had solicited as much information as possible about the couple's prostitution plan and reported it to his brother, a National City police detective.
