Portuguese Water Dog Association's Connection to Barack Obama

On Jan. 17, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that the Obama family has narrowed down the potential family dog breeds to the Labradoodle and the Portuguese Water Dog.

It should be noted, however, that there is an already solid connection between the PWD lobby and the Obama campaign. As reported in August by the Santa Fe Reporter in its DNC Web o' Power, the Portuguese Water Dog Association of America and the Obama campaign are linked by none other than New Mexico DNC delegate Gaye Pollitt.
