David Bollier, an Editor of Onthecommons.org, studies the commons as a new paradigm in economics, politics and culture. He is also Senior Fellow at the USC Annenberg School for Communication; Co-founder of Public Knowledge, a policy advocacy organization for the information commons in Washington, D.C.; and the author of Silent Theft, Brand Name Bullies, and four other books. Bollier lives in Amherst, Massachusetts.
