David Brody is an Emmy Award winning 23 year veteran news journalist who is currently the White House Correspondent for CBN News. He is also reporting on the 2010 Midterm elections. David has interviewed many prominent national figures during the course of his career. His recent one on one interviews have crossed the ideological spectrum. He's interviewed Barack Obama, Sarah Palin, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, John Edwards, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, RNC Chairman Michael Steele, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, former DNC Chairman Howard Dean, Tom Delay, Al Franken, and many others.

David’s political blog, The Brody File, has been featured in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post. The Brody File is also now a weekly 30 minute political show focusing on the 2010 Midterm Elections and featuring top newsmakers and exploring key issues relating to faith and politics.

David is currently a CNN Political Contributor and appears on shows like CNN's Situation Room with Wolf Blizter and CNN's Anderson Cooper 360. He has also appeared multiple times on NBC’s Meet The Press.

Throughout the years, David has covered many important news events including the long and intense 2008 Presidential Election, the Virginia Tech Massacre, extensive coverage of the 2006 Midterm Elections, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the 2004 Democratic and Republican conventions, the Oklahoma City Bombing, and the 1996 Olympics. He has also traveled to Kaktovik, to cover the story of oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. He’s also been down to Mexico and Yuma, Arizona where he rode along with U.S. Border Patrol to detail the nation’s immigration crisis.
David has worked as News Director at ABC affiliate KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs, and has produced special projects, stories, and shows in the major markets of Washington D.C. (WUSA-TV) and Denver (KUSA-TV). David won an Emmy Award, as well, for producing the top newscast in Colorado Springs in 1989. David was raised in New York City, and graduated with a B.S. in Communications from Ithaca College in 1988. He's married with three children.
