Former GOP Leader Dick Armey who is now a major player in the Tea Party Movement tells CBN News that this large group of influential activists across the country are not, "people sitting around in their basements with their Bibles and guns gathered around looking for the invasion. These are real ordinary folks."

Armey also tells CBN News that President Obama "has scared America so much that today he has put in the bag at least 15 Republican House victories in the House of Representatives." But he says, "every one of those victories that are out they're in the bag is to no credit to the Republican Party." Rather Armey tells CBN News that the GOP goes "through more identity crises than the average college sophomore. They just don't seem to be able to understand and stay consistently devoted to who they are."

Armey made the remarks about President Obama to conservative caucus members of the RNC in Hawaii late last week. CBN News had a camera inside. Watch the video below:

Dick Armey's Bible and Guns comment can be accessed here at The Brody File.

Also, there's more exclusive video of Armey's on camera comments to the conservative caucus at the RNC as he holds court on George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and disillusionment with the GOP. All of that is here as well.
