I'm David. I'm 16, I live in Jerusalem, and lived in Washington D.C, and I'm excited to write and share my thoughts with you. I'm in eleventh grade in an Israeli public school, and also studied in Washington D.C, where I lived when my father was on a diplomatic mission. I love politics. Everything about it. I love the excitement, the heat, and the games and deals. You must be asking, if you are a teen, living in Israel, why are you writing about American politics? Well, I do know a lot about Israeli politics, but also as part-American, I feel like I have a lot to write and share. People might say that politics is for adults, and while it's true that most teens are not aware of politics and government, I believe that it's extremely important for teens to know politics, and I hope to help and inform anyone who is interested.

Apart for my studies, I take part in the Israeli Model UN and I enjoy debating, writing, acting, and going out and laughing. I absolutely love Jerusalem, as it's one of the world's most disputed and fought-over cities, but it's also fun, eccentric and exciting. I currently try to survive high school, and I major in history and theater. I would love to read and hear your comments, so we can hold an intelligent and good debate. My plans for the future are to go to the army (here it's the law), take a trip around the world with my friends, and go to university. Everyone asks what I'll do when I grow up, and I have no idea. Maybe this can be a good start.

This is what people -- more specifically, political junkies -- have been waiting for ever since the 2008 election ended. The United States cannot and will not accept a lame, dry and dull election season. With $3 billion(!) going into this election, two campaigns slamming each other and...

Ask any Israeli on the street -- either in Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, Haifa, the North, South, East or West -- and they will have known a person who was either killed as a soldier serving his country or in a terrorist attack. This week in Israel, Remembrance Day is...

The 2012 presidential election is underway as the primary season narrows down the Republican candidates to the one that will face President Obama. It's safe to say that Obama will face Mitt Romney, even though Romney -- who was dubbed the frontrunner only months ago -- is having a rough...

Obama is the Big Winner of the GOP Primaries So Far

Barack Obama is probably having a great time watching the GOP debates. Anyone would get a kick out of seeing his two rivals diss and rip each other apart. The 2012 GOP primary is getting uglier by the day. After Newt's affirmation in South Carolina, Romney needs to show that...

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Our Constitution clearly states that the brand new country will separate church and state, and that is what the United States has done for the past 220 years relatively well. Separation of church and...

It's Getting Hot in New Hampshire

After last week's somewhat surprising Iowa caucus, it is now safe to say that the GOP primaries are fully underway, and it's getting ugly out there. Tonight, New Hampshire Republicans will make their case of who is worthy of being their candidate against President Obama, and while the...
