David Krone, 41, is Senior Vice President of the Comcast Corporation. Previously, Mr. Krone served as the Executive Vice President of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), the principal trade association of the cable industry in the United States. Before joining the NCTA in July 2002, Mr. Krone served as Executive Vice President of Marketing with the YES (Yankees Entertainment and Sports) Network. In this capacity, Mr. Krone was responsible for the initial branding campaign developed to launch the network in March 2002, and ongoing affiliate marketing projects.

From January 2000 until mid January 2001, Mr. Krone was Executive Vice President of Communications and Marketing of GlobalCenter, Inc., the Internet services subsidiary of Global Crossing Ltd., which was then merged into Exodus Communications, Inc.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Krone served as Executive Vice President of Government Relations at AT&T Broadband, which was formed out of the March 1999 merger of Tele-Communications, Inc. (TCI) into AT&T. AT&T Broadband encompassed all of AT&T’s domestic video, local telephony and data services operations. Mr. Krone worked for TCI from 1992 through 1999.

Mr. Krone began his career with Southern Strategies, Inc., a lobbying and political consulting firm based in Raleigh, NC, where he was responsible for campaign management and consulting. Mr. Krone is a 1989 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he received his degree in political science.
