David LaHuta is an American travel writer and television journalist based in Bermuda. As a correspondent for Outside Television, LaHuta reports on the stories, newsmakers and trends of the active lifestyle and his written work appears in The New York Times, Caribbean Travel+Life and Jetsetter, among others.

Originally from New York City, the adventurous ex-pat has also lived in London, Sweden and the U.S. Virgin Islands and he currently enjoys sailing, snorkeling and SCUBA diving near his home in Southampton.
