This week's Animal Oddity is in celebration of Halloween. Christmas has its reindeer and Easter has its bunny, but of all holidays Halloween as the most animals associated with it. And I brought a bunch of them on my latest appearance on the Wendy Williams Show.
Wendy totally admits that wild animals scare her but I give her major props for inviting me on her show with these critters to help dispel some myths and get people excited about protecting wildlife. As I say in the segment, just because an animal is ugly or dangerous doesn't mean that it doesn't need our protection.
And I'll admit it's pretty funny to see the expressions on Wendy's face when she's holding the Emperor scorpion and the giant Cane toad and when she freaks out when the Egyptian fruit bat flaps its wings. She was definitely a trooper!
Here's the clip - have a happy and safe Halloween!
