After Obama wins the election and steals all the white peoples' money and gives it to the black people and then commands the black people to take our cars and our candelabras and forces us to work in the underground salt mines for fifty cents a day and then repossesses our caviar and our brie and holds them right in front of our noses to torture us . . . would you like to get a cup of coffee?

Have you tried to buy caviar lately? The stuff, good stuff, is in short supply & the price!!!! My physicians have put me on a lower sodium diet; the shortage & high price of caviar, good caviar, has encouraged me to stick with the lower sodium thing. Blinis aren't bad with sour cream. There are tolerable substitutes for sour cream for us cardiacs.

I have my own "trickle down" theory. It is that for people who have a vested interest in holding on to more goodies than they could possibly enjoy in several lifetimes while thirty percent of the world's population (many of them producing those goodies) still has to get by on a dollar a day, it takes a while for the information to "trickle down" to them that such a system isn't fair, or workable in the long term.

It takes a while for compassion to trickle down on them so that they become more willing to imagine things from the point of view of the many who have so little.

It takes a while for the wisdom to trickle down to them that they are not REALLY the elite, privileged citizens of this world they feel they are; for all their toys and trinkets their lives are worth no more than anyone else's; they are global citizens who can either choose to be part of the problem or part of the solution to improving the quality of life on earth for the family of man.

It's a painfully slow process for these informatio­n/compassi­on/wisdom have-nots. But that's how one becomes fully human, drip by drip.
